hey you guys!

assuming we can't get anything done with Pryzbilla or Mihm and a option would be bringing back Scott Williams.
What would you think of bringing back Googs as a backup center for the minimum?
I mean, in Utah last year he started 24 of 25 games with 20.6 mins/gm
-ok he ain't no shotblocker- but his 5.2 rbs/gm with 2 offensive aren't bad.
He's 6-10 at 250 lbs.

Googs cannot play center. He proved that early last season which is why the Suns made the ill fated trade for Jahidi White. Googs is strictly a PF and a slow one at that.

Actually, one of the teams that COULD be interested would be the Heat since they could get him for a veteran minimum. His greatest strength is as a passer and blocking out, so he would be a good fit with Shaq in the middle. Right now Horry is being talked up for the job, but I would guess he will be able to find a deal for more than the veteran minimum SOMEWHERE.

I don't want Googs...

You're more to the point, but I agree. Googs actually did some good work with the Jazz, but I would rather give the roster spot to a guy with some upward potential.
