I was one of the ones calling for Whiz's head earlier in the season. I don't think we're "good to go" by any means, but I am not as adamant as before. Maybe we really did just "need to be patient, and keep learning the system". I'm anxious to see if the team (Kolb especially) continues to develop down the stretch.

5-7 is 5-7 and I know many of you here hate the guy and want him gone. But this team has won four of five and is on the up swing. Many of the early losses were gut wrenching nail biters that could have gone either way. Many teams would have quit after a stretch like that. Not this team. He has them ready to play every week and you cant deny that they PLAY HARD for him!

They have a lot of young talent that Whis has brought in personally that seems to be evolving into their roles and really emerging. ESPECIALLY on D. I for one am excited to see where this goes and just how good this defense can be next year. 4 of 5 with less than adequate QB play to boot is pretty impressive IMO.

Kudos coach!

Oh and to see how fired up he was in the locker room post game freaking awesome! Glad they showed it!

I think we all suffer from paranoia. One day we all want to fire the dumb a-- Whiz. The next week he is Vince Lombardi. Kolb is Leinart one week and a winner the next week. Who are we? The world wants to know.

Kudos to Whis for the turn-around. The Cardiac Cardinals are back. One thing for sure, all these overtime games are giving the fans their money's worth.

Whisenhunt can't win with some people. The Super Bowl, according to some, was because of Haley and now the Cards are winning because of Horton. You guys do realize Whiz is their boss and they're not doing anything without his approval.

We are winning because the players are playing up to their potential. The coaches do put them in a position to succeed but in the end it takes players to make the plays. No coach made that winning TD run. Instinct and speed made that play. Got to give Kolb some credit as he got the ball to our runner while almost going down for a loss. After that the runner and his blockers were the stars. That win had to really pump up our guys. I also hope it shuts up some of those Cowboy fans who reside in Arizona. Hope this spoiled there victory parties.

I cannot get over how Ryan looks. Never seen a head coach who looked like a cast off from Height Ashbury.

I was surprised to see the Head Referee being Walt Coleman. He and his family have owned Coleman Dairy in Little Rock for generations. Probably 100 years. Jerry Jones lived in Little Rock until he purchased the Cowboys. You can be sure he had a relationship with all the Coleman family and probably a close one. I am not saying Coleman would ever make a deliberate bad call. I think he is one of the best refs in the NFL but if he had made a questionable call in favor of the Cowboys you can be sure there would be questions. Jerry Jones still spends a lot of time in Little Rock and is a big supporter of the Razorbacks as he played ball there. The Coleman family are also a big time family in Litlle Rock and would move in the same circles as Jerry.

I am still not in Whiz's corner yet. I will believe it when he has the guts to jettison Grimm and hire a real OC. KC had a small streak earlier this year and everyone was beginning to think they turned it around and now look at them.

He still pulls some boneheaded moves offensively and still puts guys in the doghouse for way too long (Lutui, Williams, etc.) because he is stubborn. He still sticks to vets too long when its plain as day to see they are not getting the job done. These are my issues with Whiz.

Yes we are in a nice little streak now however I want to see how the last 4 games go. I have tempered optimism.

Whisenhunt deservedly took some heat for some moves and now deservedly deserves some praise for some moves.

I have finally seen him show some adaptability, which was my largest criticism of him. Nice run Whis! I believe we finish 7-9, which is a good launch point for the next season.

I am seeing that adaptability too, and while he wasted much of the early season trying to fit our players into his scheme, he seems to have taken heed of how Horton has adjusted his scheme to fit the young players, and is following suit. This is the first time that I have really seen Whiz adapt his play calling to the players he has instead of forcing them to do what they can't do. The more balanced offense, (run game included for real), has been a huge help to the defense, and has led to far fewer giveaways by the offense. A team that doesn't beat itself is hard to beat, and we are finally not giving games away. Good adjustment by Whiz. Its amazing that he has not lost this team. He seems to be invested in it now too.

Since this team was spawned in the midwest and played a majority of their existence in Missouri it makes sense that a lot for the fan base has a "Show me First" attitude. What doesn't make sense it that Whiz has showed us by taking the freakin Cardinals to the SB.

Haley was the reason. It was with D Greens talent. K Warner carried this team on his shoulders. Now it's Horton. All the above had their finger prints on the success but the man who ran the entire show get's very little to no credit from some.

I have been a Whiz supporter and continue to be so. Besides Coryell what HC has had any success with this team in the modern era?

The culture that was cemented in place for a lifetime had to be transformed and Whiz has accomplished this. Truly a great leader and football genius.

I truly believe that if Whiz had full say in all operations that we would be a perenial playoff team. Anyone that doesn't see that he has had one hand tied behind his back (Bill Sr.) doesn't understand the history of this franchise.

Easy to say when were at the potential zenith of the season.

I (really, really, really) hope that this evening you're still as confident.

I will be even if we get trounced. One game does not make a season or the rationale to "grade" someone's career as a HC.

I'm in.

The second half adjustments were impressive. Horton looks like a superb hire. He's figuring out how to effectively use Hyphen. It looked pretty bleak for a while there, but Whis has redeemed himself with this run.

I'm really impressed with the way this team has fought back. That says all anyone needs to say about how the players feel about Whisenhunt. Our QB situation has been crazy this year, ridiculous really, but we've been in almost every game.

Another game that half time adjustments were outstanding by both the O and D.

The Cards had 3 TO's and still won the game. That's crazy good stuff.

The halftime adjustments we've made the past two weeks have been mind blowing. Honestly I think Whiz is finally getting it that when stuff isn't working you cant stick to the plan, you gotta adjust. My only complaint about Whiz was that he always seemed to stubborn to change but obviously he's changed this year. I also have a lot of respect for how this team has turned it around and has kept playing hard, you gotta give the coach some credit when that happens. Plenty of other teams have mailed it in when they start as bad as we did.

Sometimes we all need a little humble pie! Big props to the coaching staff and Cheese is right about Horton being a great hire. The guy is playing the young guys, using his players right, he just gets it and the guys are getting it too.

And, the team gave him a game ball after the game today. No doubt about it, they want him here.
