Winning isn't going to stop it. I think people misunderstand. When it's freezing elsewhere and people are planning vacations AZ is a prime destination for a lot of people. There's a lot to do. They spend money doing it. The reason we don't go to Packer games isn't because tickets aren't available, it's because who the F wants to vacation in Wisconsin? Or Chicago? Or a lot of places where it's cold, when we're desert rats. Unless you have family there, nobody goes by their own free will. We're the destination in winter.

People need to chill. Our so-called lack of home field advantage in the regular season hasn't meant squat. We're 13-2. Yeah, shame on those fans for hurting our record. We've lost 1 home game, earlier when it was hot and nobody, including us, wanted to be here.

Darkside, I disagree a little bit. Fans of teams like the Packers just travel well. There are certain teams whose fans just enjoy doing road games. I know for myself, I would love to go to GB, maybe not in December, but for me and fans who like to travel, the destination plays only a partial role. I'm about seeing my team in a different stadium and perhaps meeting other Cards fans. It's not a vacation for me, it's a business trip.

Perfectly understandable. I don't question anyone's travel habits. Or fan habits at all, frankly. Wife and I get one vacation a year, at best, we're not going to Wisconsin. Hell, we're not even going to a football game, and I'm a big football fan. I want to build memories with my wife, not football memories.

I remember the SB year, we had a chance to go to the Philly game or her favorite bed and breakfast in Cali. Wife left it up to me, and I still remember the night, watching the game on TV, then going out on our deck to watch the sunset and some wild turkey's in the wild doing whatever wild turkey's do. I'd never trade that memory for one second to be around a bunch of drunkards acting like fools, I don't care what game it is.

People are different, I don't care what anyone does with their tickets or where they go or why. I do have issue with telling someone how they should spend their money or what to do with tickets. People need to stay in their lanes and mind their biz.

Personally, I think there were more Vikings fans at the TNF game than there were Packers fans today. Far less green than was rumored to be there and many left just before the 4th quarter started and/or just after it started. We were shocked by the mass exodus. The Packers' fans we interacted with were nice. They weren't very happy, but they were nice. :D

This. I was thinking that the vikings fans numbers were helped by other minnesota games that week. Didnt the wild and timberwolves play in Phoenix that week as well?

I know there were a lot of packers fans around me but there are a lot of broker owned seats around me. Plus I am on the visitors side. The home side was a wall of Red.

This was sent from my cell pjone so please excise any typeos or other errors.

Yes, all 3 Minnesota teams were here that weekend.

This. I would say there might've been 15k Vikes fans at the THursday night game. And there were less Packer fans yesterday.

I tell my wife that every year, when we head out for our annual roadie. This is a business trip, and this year we're in the butt kicking business...and business is GOOD!

We're the destination in winter.
.

hmmm .. not really. Depends of their budget, lol.

I can think of a lot of other winter destinations, but if your goal is to watch an NFL game, you can go to San Diego, Miami, or Tampa as well as Phoenix.

Long flight home. :D

You mean drive home.

All the locals I know who were Packer fans went out a bought tickets. These were the same guys I tailgated with in 2009 when the Packers came for the meaningless final game of the season before returning the following week for the Wildcard.

Same situation with Minnesota and Chicago. They have all moved here and still root for the team where they lived 30 years ago.

That's my favorite thing about this win.

I bet a whole bunch of the GB fans are walking away thinking that was the worst money they've ever spent.

That's the real point. Until the Cards become a legit contender year after year, like the Patriots or Broncos, opposing team fans won't buy tickets to see their team lose. I'm sure the Packer backers really thought they had a chance in this game -- after all they were play the Cardinals (aren't they one of the worst teams in the NFL?)

The Packers fans were loud, but it wasn't even close to how loud the Cards fans were. I agree that the Packers as fans are as friendly as can be. This is the 1st game I have been to that I did not see a fight. I had some stupid Cardinals fan taunting 4 GB fans in front of me and they all just sat there and ignored him. I was kind of embarrassed because he was not making sense. Plus, it was only 17-0 at this point. I ended up talking to these 4 guys and they said "man, you guys are kicking our a*%!, and "no question, your team is the best team in the NFL and is your year." It cool to see even though they are getting crushed, they still have the decency to give credit, unlike Seahawk, 49ers and Cowboy fans do

I don't think Packers fans will be ready to pay out the nose for playoff tickets if they have to come back through AZ after that performance.

You are right on. Pretty sure Packers fans thought there was very little chance they were going to win this game, but I'm sure they didn't expect it to be a beat down

My whole section was almost all Packers fans. But they are idiots and were cheering at the beginning of the game while their team was on offense. I was trying to get them to cheer louder.

I saw that on TV our fans were yelling and the packer fans right next to them were trying to out yell them. Great real football fans.:number1:
