Fire Denny now ... eat his contract and move on ...

Interim coach should be either Kruczek, Bush or Clancy ..

But we should be starting our search for the next head coach now by putting out feelers and dooing research ...

To say:

"We are not going to stand for this **** any longer. We care about the product we put on the field and Denny has screwed the pooch enough here. Our fans deserve better and while it won't make a difference this year, we will hold Denny accountable for where this team is right now."

Keeping Denny the rest of the year will completely demoralize the fan base as it plods along to 2-14 or 3-13. It will demoralize the players as well. They know Denny is full of **** right now. They don't buy what he is selling any longer...if they ever did.

Damn nidan, the better question is why did they let Denny on the damn charter flight home? Are you not pissed off enough to hold Denny accountable for this mess? If so, then bust his ass out of here tonight...not in January.

EDIT: Did you see Leinart...our future today? He went from brash to head hanger in about 3 weeks. Do we want Denny further eroding this kid? Nope. Matt could be just the type to say...screw this, I am retiring.
Exactly. Remember we lost Simeon, Aeneas, Plummer and others who all at one point were completely devoted to turning around this mess. The players need to hear from the ownership that incompetence will not be tolerated and that they will do everything necessary to put them in a position to win.

If this were a ship, I say let DG go down with it. However, the Cardinals are not a ship, they are a team with a lot of supporters. I say dump the coach (DG) and try to salvage the players like Leinart, Fitz and Boldin that can lead this team into the future. I know this current team is going to lose, but let them lose with some integrity. IMO, the players' spirit is clearly broken and they lack confidence.

Just try to find someone to guide them until next year in a positive manner until a new coach can be found. My fear is that DG can do some serious harm to the psyche of a young player such as Leinart. I do not want a losing mentality integrated any further into this team.

IMO, the players no longer have confidence in DG. Yes, players should play for pride if nothing else, but the team appears to lack confidence in their coach. This concern appears legitimate as the team appears to be poorly organized and lacks adequate game planning.

If Green is coaching after the bye week i'm going to throw up every fan knows we need change and yet this ******* ownership cant get that through their heads guess they want to lose all the remaining games so be it then.

Shouldn't we know better than to trust Rod Graves' powers of anticipation? He didn't anticipate the Cards going 3-12 after the Pace/Johnson draft. He didn't anticipate a thin June 1 free agent crop. He didn't anticipate the salary cap going up so much.

This should be a good sign for those cheering Green's ouster.

The Bidwills really, really like Graves. Especially the old man. He proved himself to them with Wendell Bryant. If he says there won't be a change, he's not pulling it out of his rear.

Jude LaCava just said that he doesn't expect a coaching change this week. Mark it down.

Keeping this polite ...

OF COURSE I'M PISSED OFF, geeze

My comment was simple, what is the point in firing him now other than to apease your need for blood. So you think the fan base isn't demoralized now, get real, I for one have hit [I hope] rock bottom.

After the season, sure he is out of here, heck I'll buy his bus fare if he needs it.

But right now, just exactly who is going to put his hand up to take over ? And what would it achieve

I guess it depends on the players, this atmosphere is poison, you know that, if you're a player what would you rather have? an interim signaling that there is new hope because a new HC is comming or just lose rinse and repeat with no change to your mind numbing journey to the end of the season?

Answer it honestly.

They're going to have DG and RG re-triple their efforts over the bye week to get this turned around :D.

Actually, i think this will show who is running the show for the Cards. I'll bet Michael wants Green gone now and Bill wants him to coach out the year. To me, i think DG has given up and coached yesterday's game like it and to hope he gets released/fired. There was no urgency or timeouts being called in the 4th quarter and the play calling was kind of like just admitting this thing is over and let's get out of here.
