There's an NFL draft party set to take place at the Green Bay Packers' house.

Titletown is set to host the festivities this year in what is the smallest NFL market. In other words, small-town America is getting it's time to shine.

One of the biggest events in sports is being dropped into a Wisconsin neighborhood, but this Midwestern town possesses more than enough hospitality to host a great event.

For the home crowd, their eyes will be on the Packers after a disappointing end to their season. Green Bay came into the 2024 campaign dreaming of a Super Bowl. Instead, they managed to lose to the team that eventually won it – the Philadelphia Eagles.

There is work to be done if the team fancies itself a contender in 2025 and that all starts in the shadows of Lambeau Field. The frozen tundra will be far from it in late April. That just means now is as good a time as it'll ever be to lay a foundation to turn the 2025 Packers into a team to be reckoned with.

Here's what to know about the Packers' picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Packers 2025 NFL Draft needs

Cornerback

Depth in the secondary is an area of concern for Green Bay, especially with the uncertainty surrounding Jaire Alexander. Between injuries and trade rumors, who knows what 2025 holds for the cornerback. The Packers can't afford to wait-and-see, so injecting some youth into the cornerback room figures to be a priority.

Wide receiver

Much like Alexander on defense, there is also the Christian Watson concern on offense. The receiver has been impactful when on the field, but the injury bug continues to take a bite out of him. While additional depth is needed, Green Bay is a team that needs a true No. 1 receiver. When and if they find one, that will take the offense to another level.

Edge rusher

Generating pressure consistently has been a problem in Green Bay and everyone is always on the hunt for help on the edge. The Packers will hope that Lukas Van Ness makes the leap in his third season, but you can never have too much of a good thing at this spot.

Here's what the Packers could do come draft night, according to USA TODAY Sports' Ayrton Ostly:

  • Round 1, Pick 23: CB Jahdae Barron, Texas
    • The Packers get one of the best value picks in the first round with Barron, a versatile cornerback with an impressive mix of speed, ball skills and football IQ. He plays the run hard as well which will come in handy in a division featuring the Lions' offense.
  • Round 2, Pick 54: Edge J.T. Tuimoloau, Ohio State
    • Green Bay often chooses high-upside edge rushers but that hasn't worked out in recent years (Lukas Van Ness). In a departure from that, the Packers pick the high-floor Tuimoloau who can set the edge in run defense and use pash rush moves to get home.
  • Round 3, Pick 87: DL Joshua Farmer, Florida State
  • Round 4, Pick 124: CB Upton Stout, Western Kentucky
  • Round 5, Pick 159: IOL Joe Huber, Wisconsin
  • Round 6, Pick 198: RB Brashard Smith, SMU
  • Round 7, Pick 237: LB Eugene Asante, Auburn
  • Round 7, Pick 250: IOL Hayden Conner, Texas
