Those are the cuts I see. He will get rid of our backups and get guys that could replace our starters and reduce them to the backup role.

No way he cuts McCown. Not that he is the answer but he still could pan out. I still hope we draft a QB with our first pick.

I said Parsons OR McCown. He will draft or sign a FA, keep Blake as Backup and a third guy. So not room for both imo.

Then it'll be McCown. No way that you keep one guy who has shown potential in game experience against a guy that has done nothing when they're both making the same money.

Hope your mom bought a lot of Parsons football cards, Preston.

We have four runningbacks who are all basically the same. Minny under Green had three guys who all had different skills and talents. I'm looking forward to a more diverse running back corps.

We do need a RB and maybe two. Smith may stay here but I do not see him producing much. I hope by accident we draft Cedric Cobbs and that he is there in round 3 or 4. This guy will be a starter in the NFL in my view and right out of the gate.

ANTHONY CLEMENT WILL BE AN ARIZONA CARDINAL THROUGH AT LEAST THE 2004 SEASON

Read the game analyses by Gary Jones from the Bears and 49ers games. It might have looked like Clement was out of it, but Gary's reviews seemed to suggest taht he was coming around.

I don't know when what you had against the guy turned into a personal crusade, but it's hard to find quality RTs in this league, and that's what Anthony Clement is.

I do think that the cuts will be either Barron Tanner or Russell Davis, at least one of the "belly of the team" offensive line aquisitions from last season (including Raleigh Roundtree), probably both Fred Wakefield or KVB (but maybe only one), at least one of the bottom-of-the-depth-chart corners, two of Bryan Gilmore, Jason McAddley, Kevin Kasper, and Nate Poole (Maybe three), and probably that OLB that we signed from the practice squad at the end of the season.

Off the pipe? Ohh......College was a long time ago. :D

Anyway as I said in other posts if Clement comes back to shove in my face...WONDERFUL.

But he was the most frustrating guy to watch this year. He just got beat every way you can get beat in this league.

A 6'7" 300 lbs is great to have but if he can't shuffle his feet or touch his toes it is worthless.

I hope to be proved wrong, but untill then I DO have a personal crusade to get him out of the starting lineup.

Sorry man I just don't think he has what it takes. But I would loved to be proved wrong.

A lot better, yes, but good enough to justify Duane Starks-type money? I don't think so. If he'll take nickel corner money, sign him. If not, let him sample to cold reality of free agency.

Agreed!

Lassiter played that game and got burnt. And it was a great decision by the Cards. I hope they follow in that trend and do not sign Barrett for a lot of money. Too many good FA CB;s out there this year.

Here are the players that I think are on the bubble.

Anderson,Darling,Eason,Gilmore,Grace,Gramatica,Kasper,Mcaddley
McDaniel, Parsons,Newhouse,Ransom,Rogers,Scobey,Smith,
Starkey,Stone,Tanner,KVB,Wakefiend,,Whiting,Wragge.

Now I am not saying that all of the above will be let go but most will I think.

Barrett,Bush,Dishman are UFA's and I dont think they will be asked back.

A while ago I posted that I believe that given McCown's physical abilities, with good coaching and a good system he can flourish. I think because Greene's system at the Vikes was QB friendly, I want Greene to give him a good look--more like what Parcells did with Carter in Dallas.

As for Poole, if he does not make the team, he should be a permanent fixture on the Cards practice squad for a while. Cards fans has got to love this guy now for that McCown-to-Poole game winning drive.

Later David.

Best of luck to you and your agent in getting the money you think you deserve.

Why wait take Cobbs from Ark in the Third this year the fourth for certain if he makes it that far down.
That's like trying to answer the question "How's your wife?" (Compared to what?)

- We don't know how Damien will be.

- We haven't resolved Emmitt's status.

- We don't know what other needs we will have addressed by Round 3 or 4

- We don't know which other prospects will still be on our Board when we draft in Round 3 or 4.

- We don't even know what our new offensive system will emphasize and what kind of RB's (if any) we'd want to come in and play for us within that system.
