People already have mentioned this on a thread and it should be taken into account. Green has something up his sleeve and can't help letting everyone know. Randy Moss... maybe... how about a trade to get a top flight HB. Green hasn't talked much about Shipp but this would suprise everyone.

A draft day trade to get Dillon. He gives up a pick in the same round the compensatory pick is in 3rd or 4th.

Cause Moss ain't leaving Minne.

He said he wants a difference maker at WR or RB, how about both?

Draft Fitz and trade for Dillon.

Suddenly this team would become even more dangerous offensively.

Duce Staley has he had any offers at all out there?

I hope that DG has something up his sleeve.. I like Dillion, but I wouldn't trade for him.. I think Shipp will do good in DG scheme..

The thing I would like to see would be talking Sapp into coming here for a low price and turning this defensive side into a force..

I think green could get Sapp in here too.

DG wanted to draft Sapp originally but team management nixed it.

There are still quality FAs out there believe it or not. Now you won't have to overpay.

Sapp would put us in the national spotlight. You got to think he has a little gas left in the tank. He certainly would bring an attitude to this defense. He would help put people in the stands too. But, alas, his asking price will be too high for a young and unproven team. He will end up on a team that has a real shot at the playoffs and Super Bowl.

But it certainly would make things interesting around here.

Warren Sapp as a free agent... trade for Randy Moss...suddenly we're filling the stands and on Monday Night Football.

That's all well and good, but will it win games? Those are two very volatile personalities to be adding to a team at the same time.

Yeah - can you imagine how entertaining it would get with both mouths! It might even be comparable to barkley's days with the suns.

Staley has had intrest from several teams including the Cowboys, who I think made an offer.

As far as Dillon goes, he has recieved exactly ZERO offers. Why not throw out a 6th or 7th, maybe a 5th? I doubt we could draft talent like that with one of those picks.

And whats up with Jamel White? I thought we were rumoed to be close to a trade for him? More posturing to generate intrest in him before they cut him? He would be a very nice 3DRB to run screens with.

I'm still mad at Sapp for the cheapshot on Clifton. If he's in shape I guess he would help us, might have a good effect on a guy like Bryant but then he might have the opposite effect.

Last week I thought Moss was a real possibility, now I think not I think Minnesota is just trying to motivate him. Think about it, leak a rumor he's on the block, deny it. Leak another rumor that several teams have talked to you about him, then have stuff come out about how "tight" he and Tice are. Basically you've given Moss food for thought, I can be traded, and my coach likes me.

Their Superbowl year Sapp bought everyone on the D-line a silver chain to signify that they are only as strong as their weakest link. He has a big mouth and draws a lot of attention off the field but he is a team player. He would help Bryant and the others a lot. He knows if the people lining up next to him aren't performing it affects him on the field. One of the main benefits to having Sapp is that he would get all the double teams, leaving Berry and the others with one on one blocking.
