Actually no, and I've considered starting a thread on this; most folks don't realize that Warner wasn't exactly lighting it up in his early days with us. The thought here being that good, bad, or otherwise Carson deserves more of a rope than folks here are currently giving him.

Then people have terrible memories.

Go and search and look up any Warner related threads from the Rams game in 2006 to when he took the starters job back the last half of 2007 after Leinart got hurt. NO ONE had a single nice thing to say about him. I would wear his jersey to the stadium during that time period and get mocked by CARDS fans!!!

I heard on the radio this morning (prob Doug/Wolf) that McCoy and other Bucs defenders were actually apologizing to the Cards linemen for being forced to bull rushing them at the end... when is the Bucs bye? Schiano is not lasting very much longer.

Well not too many fans are going to be supportive of a 35 year old QB when their team is 3-12 in games he started. Especially when the team has just drafted a glamour boy QB high in the first round.

Of course the Rams game in '06 where Warner threw 3 picks and then fumbled on the Rams 18 with 1:46 left in the game and the Cards down by two didn't help his reputation much.

Schiano doesn't believe in letting opposing teams take knees unchallenged. I believe every NFL coach know this. (But I wasn't aware that the Bucs went after Carson's knees. If so, it's bush ).

True.

But, it's the center's knees I am worried about.

Rugbymuffin doesn't believe in that bush league stuff.

Rugbymuffin would have a victory formation for Schiano teams. Guard jumps on the back of the guy torpedo-ing the center and QB with severe judgement and with both feet. Make sure to sharpen the cleats before hand.

WR lineup as far outside and close to the sideline Schiano is on, as possible, and flips Schiano the middle finger the entire time he is on the field, and if the receiver feels it necessary verbalize how the opposing team thinks he is #1, and how our team just kicked Schiano's team's collective butts. He can point to the scoreboard with the other hand if he wants.

You can win a lot of games by cheating, and what he is doing it is cheating. Screw the NFL and what they say about it, they are so concerned with player safety and let this happen ?

As a coach, I can tell my players to go out and just dismantle the other men on the team and have half the opposing roster leaving the game on a cart. But, you don't do that because that is not part of the game, and there is integrity in the game and sportsmanship.

Schiano has no integrity, no sportsmanship, no class, a lack of general intelligence, and seems like a grade A, #1 ******* that only lives in our society because rules prevent others from repeatedly punching him in the face for being a jerk.

I mean seriously, what a bush league clown, he is this guy:

Its a f'n joke, and it is an intent to hurt. And I am not prepared (obviously) to see it any other way. The guy is scum.

This. Didn't see much of a handshake from Arians after the game though.

Arians should have pooped in a bag and given it to Schiano instead of the handshake.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 0-7. They’ll likely be 0-8 with a road trip to Seattle next week. Fans were chanting “fire the coach” at the end of Thursday night’s 31-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers and billboards have been put up around Tampa Bay calling for Greg Schiano’s firing.

all of the 700 fans that were left.

I wonder if 82 still thinks it's ridiculous to call the Bucs a garbage team?

If we are give up sportsmanship and respect for the game/opponent, why don't we just throw the backups in and have them attack the Tampa d-line starters at the knees?

Because we have class and respect. Think about it. If one coach cannot abide by the established coachs' unwritten rules, then he will be gone. Fans, players, and coaches can tell a hack from a real coach. They already have "fire schiano" billboards up in Tampa.

Its a learning and respect thing. Schiano will understand after he is fired. He is a young coach and really showing his experience. If he gets another opportunity in the future, I would expect him to embrace the opportunity and leave the petty crap aside.

I liked what Schiano did to develop the football program at Rutgers and am disappointed that he's acting like such a douche in the pros.

There was an article somewhere in the national media reporting that Tampa Bay players hate the Schiano regime and describe it as like "playing in Cuba."

No doubt there are two sides to every story, but what we do know is: based on W's & L's, whatever Schiano is doing in TB "ain't working."

Kyle Flood is doing such a better job at Rutgers its almost a joke.

And Flood doesn't have Ray Rice, Kenny Britt and Mohammed Sanu to carry him.

An ex Tampa player who never experienced living in Cuba talking out of his bung. So it was one player. The player is Michael Bennett, who is pissed off that Tampa wouldn't resign him because of a shoulder injury.

What? Weren't the players you cited, recruited and coached by Schiano?

Yep.

Good job of recruiting by Schiano.

Better job of coaching by Kyle Flood.

So one of those is a better salesman, and the other is a better football coach.

At some point a team will be up by 2 or more scores go to take a knee and fire out at Tampas' defense, not knowing what they might do. The D will just stand up and be knocked into next week.

If I understand correctly the NFL has instituted new rules to protect the Center on FGs and Extra Points. I believe I heard Madden talking about it on the radio this week. So why not have the same rules for the "victory formation"? Offense could simply notify the referee that they were going to take a knee to run the clock and the rule would take effect. If an offense faked the knee and attempted to advance the ball, 15 yard penalty and loss of down.
