The Suns complaining all the time doesn't help.
Easy to say but when your getting freaking hosed and have to burn challenge in easy call it’s ridiculous! They literally just called a lose ball foul on Morris when he was the one getting held and fouled going for a lose ball!

I'm saying the Suns should concentrate on playing basketball and less on the referees. They have a reputation of being soft.

I guess that's why the Suns have a losing record?
Did I say that? Don’t be daft… the Suns have a losing record because of health period lots of close games lost and can’t stay healthy. Nurk has been a disaster this season and guys missing games can’t develop and keep a rhythm, sure looked good starting the season until injuries took a toll…

Other NBA teams manage to win and have injuries as well.

We certainly looked better but I don't think we ever really "looked good" during that strong start. We closed games well but we couldn't put even weak teams away and that usually means something. And I think we're seeing nightly what that something is, we are a borderline playoff team when fully healthy but a losing team when not.

The Grizzlies have been plagued by injuries including Ja Morant but have learned to play with "effort" as Eddie Johnson termed it.

same old problems. Every other team sticks a body to the other team's top scorer, like Grizz did KD and Book all the time this game, only Suns rarely do that. Only after JJJ scored 20 without resistence did they switch to denying ball closeup D on him. Okogie is the only one with positive +/-. They ain't winning any game with this type of D.
And on O, so many careless TOs, Tyus with 3 already, they lack concepts and/or executions. Their screens often bring a better defender like in the case JJJ stole Beal's pass to KD on top of key. Everything they do is so predictable and creates not much spacing gain. Grizzs are much better even with all their end-of-bench subs.

Really? I think we suck really well, like we've practiced it regularly.

If I hadn't seen video of them practicing, I would think they haven't

Seriously, something is going to have to happen soon, one way or the other.

Suns playing with effort at the moment as they cut the Grizzlies lead to 71-64. Can they keep it up?

It's a fair question. Of late, I'd say the answer is no but we won some games early that went a lot like this one.
