It was possibly their best defensive game of the year, certainly against a strong playoff team. Even without Gasol and Wells, the Grizzlies are a pretty good team and the Suns held then to 84 points on 35% shooting.
Barbosa stayed out of foul trouble and scored 17 points. He got dinged on a couple "palming" calls (I get the impression that only rookies get called for that), but still showed great skill at getting to the basket in the half court.
Lampe had 3 rebounds in 12 minutes to go with 2 of 4 shooting (including a great pick and roll with Barbosa). He played pretty well on defense including blocking a shot.
Casey actually scored in double digits on 3 of 3 shooting (2 beyond the arc) and couple of free throws. Casey also brought the ball up the court and only had 1 turnover in 25 minutes. It was one of his better games.
There has been doubt that the Suns could play consistent defense over 48 minutes, but they came pretty close.
