Should be a great series but I think GS has too much firepower and their D is also solid, too.

I love Memphis, but Golden State has so much firepower that I don't think anyone can stop them. I can't recall the last team that had as much firepower as they do. On top of that, they are a good team defensively as well.

Golden State wins this in five games and they cruise to the title.

I'll say the grizz pull an upset. They go inside and beat them down low. Davis exposed them a bit. Only think is their starting guard is down I think.

I think Golden State has the chance to be one of the greatest teams ever. Watching their games, there is simply no weakness to exploit.

Which team in the NBA can beat the Warriors in Golden State even once? Much less beat them in GS at least twice.

This looks like it could be one hell of a series before it is decided.

Is there a more fundamentally sound defensive team than Memphis? Forget stats just the eyeball test, they make everything soooooo freaking difficult.

I think it every time they kill the Suns, and every time I watch them play anyone, I would HATE to play against these guys. They are so tough.

Some betting line I saw had the Grizzlies as 15:1 underdogs to win the series. I'd call Golden State the favorite, but 15:1 seemed pretty extreme. I was tempted to take that bet, but now it's too late.

What a physical battle. Watching this series makes me feel like the Suns play a completely different sport than what these teams play.

lol!

nobody knows what you are watching.

PS: The Suns have been one of the more physical teams this season and were constantly commended for how tough and scrappy they play by opposing commentators.

Yeah, the Suns didn't lack for bruisers. They lacked talent.

The Grizz have taken control of the series

Pretty one sided officiating in the 4th

They will have to beat the refs and the NBA to get past the Warriors

That was one hell of a game. I have not seen one team shut down another team this way since the Spurs doing it to the Suns for a few years.

I love both teams, but it is so nice to watch a tough, defensive, big team dominate a finesse team. I would not be disappointed if we had a Memphis vs. Chicago finals.

That's exactly what I thought of as well.

I've said all along that GSW basically runs a D'Antoni offense with more attention to defense and rebounding and having a true C like Bogut in the middle.

We had Marion who was a beast defender but undersized and that cost us sometimes against bigger teams and GSW has Green who is a beast defender but is struggling right now against the bigger Grizzlies.

I think Chicago will get there. For Cleveland, Love is out and Irving is banged up. And John Wall is out for Washington.

As for Memphis, I just don't think the NBA will let them through. Not w/ Zbo on the roster and larger TV markets in the mix. Even if they do get past Golden State, they won't get past the Clippers. Keep in mind I am pulling for the Grizz, but I am just too cynical about how the NBA operates.

Well, the league tried hard to help the Warriors tonight, and the Cavs in their last game.

I love Memphis, thought I think Warriors have a better shot at beating LA and the Cavs. I really thought Warriors would overpower Memphis offensively. It is amazing that the Grizzlies have been able to completely shut them down.

Great player, love the guy, but dating back to his days on the Blazers, or as their detractors would call them "the jail blazers", he has not been a model citizen that the NBA is into showcasing.

He's come a long way and has definitely fixed his image.

I think you're reaching way to far back to his younger Portland days

He was implicated in a drug ring or something early in his Memphis days.

http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports....-as-major-marijuana-supplier-in-indianapolis/

The evidence seemed pretty damning... cars he owned, storage sheds he owned, being used to stash a ton of drugs. That he got off makes me think one of his buddies that were doing the actual selling took the fall for him... probably for a big reward.

And just a few years ago this one happened:

http://deadspin.com/5893632/police-pointed-a-gun-at-zach-randolph-while-he-was-in-bed-with-a-woman

At least the positive to take from that article is that he seems to have gone from a drug supplier to merely a user.

And you've got this doozy of a quote...

"I just don't want the day to come where I pick up that paper and it says [Zach] shot someone, or that he was shot. Every day that goes by that I don't see that, I feel good."
-- Moe Smedley, Zach Randolph's high school coach

Yikes!

Zach seems to have let matured a bit but I'd be queasy about having to root for a guy like that.

Anyhoo, I'm going to be bummed if the Grizz win this. The Warriors play a beautiful brand of basketball.

The Grizz got a great emotional lift from Conley's returning so quick from a serious injury but I think the Warriors will get going and take the series. They were definitely missing shots they normally make. We'll soon see because it'll be a much, much harder job if they don't even the series at 2-2 next time out.

Grizz getting blown out in game 4. Kerr is playing Lee in the same line up with Bogut and seems to be pretty effective tonight.
