Drew Rosenhaus on ⁦‪@GetUpESPN‬⁩ on Rob Gronkowski’s future: “If the team was struggling or they needed him at some point next year, and let’s just say hypothetically Tom Brady gave him a call and said ‘Rob, I need you.’ I wouldn’t be shocked if he came back to play a few games.”

How about this perspective: Gronk meant so much to TB12 (the numbers with and without are astonishing). The Pats have been 1 team rumored to want Rosen, should he be available. With Gronk retiring, I think this alters their plans a bit. I can clearly see NE drafting a TE with their 1st pick, especially if one of the top 3 are still available....and then going after a QB in round 2, if someone like Jones is still there. I don't think they would risk waiting for a TE in round 2, knowing how much a good one means to TB12, if one of the top 3 are available at the end of Round 1.

I'll always respect him & the Patriots. Without his/their successes, how many more SB's would the zebras have handed over to the Stealers. For me, it's almost as important to see the Stealers lose as it is to see the Cardinals win. That's just me having to live near & listen to these Stealer blowhards.
Honest question: are you misspelling Steelers on purpose (I see it every time you mention them) because you think they steal games?...or is it just an autocorrect oversight?

On purpose for sure. It all started with the bs Immaculate Reception. I didn't even hate the Stealers back in the early days. Growing up in Syracuse, NY, never even knew a Stealer fan. But, I knew that call sucked. That just opened the floodgates for more crap calls through the decades. Hell, in the 60's, I always looked forward to playing the Stealers. Those were the 2 easiest games on the schedule.

Nonsense.

Gronk is one of the best.NOT THE BEST.All the guys listed deserve being in the conversation )I forgot Tony Gonzalez and Kellen Winslow SR).Different eras of football.Mackey, jackie Smith,Ditka all played in the early TE era,Casper was so good john Madden said Casper could have been a Offensive tackle if he wanted to.Bavaro was one of the best blocking TEs and good pass catcher also.Gonzo,Sharpe is the top 10 discussion also.Gronk is in the top 10 but greatest TE of all time.Horsehockey.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus on ⁦‪@nflnetwork‬⁩ on Gronk’s retirement: “I was shocked. I thought Rob was going to come back and play.” His speculation, gut feeling, is that Gronk comes back at some point. But Rob told Rosenhaus he is “done, done, done.”
