Buccaneers now are poised to have three notable tight ends - Rob Gronkowski, OJ Howard and Cameron Brate - on their roster.

Two days before the draft, they do not have any pending trade for Howard.

They all know BA sucks at using tight ends right?

With their receivers and BA's TE record I don't see the point

Several years of 500 or 600 yards under BA is average. Hardly gang busters.

Gronk is a 1000 yard TE.

And Gronk is arguably the best TE to ever play football.... nice try

averaging 50 catches and 600 yards is good TE production and one year 76 catches and 800 yards. Proves he can and is willing to use TE play and knows how.

You do realize that the QB throws the ball right? The TE in any system runs routes if he's open he'll get opportunities. This whole BA doesn't use a TE is crazy talk.

In response to any speculation that Tampa could trade OJ Howard, Buccaneers GM Jason Licht said today: "We're excited about having OJ Howard play with Rob Gronkowski. Why wouldn't you want to have many weapons at that position? We have an excellent tight end group right now."

OK... well then, how about Brate? Brate is making $4.25M this season, gets more expensive going forward but all the guaranteed money is off his contract so he could be re-structured.

Good ole stubborn BA.

Paying 17m/year for 3 TE's that he doesn't really need. Why trade for Gronk and his $9-10m salary if your not going to throw it to him?

I wanted nothing to do with Gronk in fantasy unless he fell to the bottom solely because of BA.

It's so surprising to me that some people think that this is surprising at all!

It was more about making Brady comfortable, than incorporating the position in the offense.

TB left his BFF in New England ( Julian E. ) and TB needed another BFF in Tampa.
