The chunk plays in this playoffs has made it crystal clear relying on a ground game ball control offense is dead.

A dropped pass. A motion penalty. A holding call. A sack derails any offense that isn’t capable of chunk plays on any given play.

We have to add a dynamic smart take the top off the defense wr. That would make MHJ so much more effective too.

We have two good tight ends that can move the chains and force defense to respect anywhere they are on the field.

Benson needs to take a big step up to create a 1-2 punch and keeping Connor fresh for crunch time. If not him somebody.

We need to do whatever it takes to construct the biggest baddest o-line we possibly can.

We have a Qb that can run but he lacks poise and is weak at intermediate and deep routes down the middle. If we do the above mentioned and Kyler can’t produce in that area of the field, well all the excuses will be gone.

Somebody on this team needs to be able to get under center and add the tush push option to our arsenal.

It’s depressing to watch playoff football because it can make it appear we are miles behind them. I’ve ( most of us ) have said and believed this offense underproduced, statistics be damned.

We can talk about the edge a DT and the defense all day long. I really don’t think we can create a dominant defense to offset this offense’s shortcomings.

I know many here blame Petzing, Kyler, Petzing and Kyler and overall talent. Whatever it is this team needs to make improvements to make this offense dynamic.

when we look at the final four teams and beyond. a lot of them have running QBs that can throw well from the pocket. Hurts is probably the weakest throwing QB, but he is surrounded by incredible talent. all of these teams seem like they can run or pass. Buffalo really pounded Baltimore on the ground today. turnovers and turnovers on downs were the difference in all of these games.

Only 1 winning QB passed for over 200 yards this weekend. Neither of the winning QBs today broke 130. Weather was obviously a huge factor, but dominating the LOS is always a good way to win in the playoffs no matter what the circumstances.
Seeing Hurts have an objectively awful game with all the bad sacks he welcomed & the Eagles STILL win was hilarious. Shoutout to Jalen Carter.

Always believed in the following:)

Game plan scheming

Half time adjustments

The correct audibles at the right times

Blitz pickups

Don’t be a one dimensional offense

Minimal penalties

Minimal turnovers

WR downfield blocking

Attention to special teams play

Beat your man, one on one

Catch the ball

Time of possession

Execution, execution and more execution…

yes simple to do, right? The idea is to do better in these areas than your opponent.

Jaden. Jalen. Josh. Patrick. Those are the 4 left.

It comes down to the QB. Kyler, at his best, is as good as these guys. But Kyler's best only appears 50% of the time prior to November 1st, then hibernates for the winter.

My take away from these playoffs is that winning a 3 or 4 man rush is the most important thing in modern football.

2nd is protecting against a blitz.

i think this is spot on

both Wash (won) and LA (so close given their turnovers) pass rush created pressure against excellent offensive lines
