I have no idea if anyone will recognize this movie. It probably doesn't hold up well but we loved it when we first saw it. I'll post a more recognizable shot in a couple of hours if no one has claimed the prize (prize? what prize?).
No clue, but whats new?

This is only the second time that I've put one up knowing it might go unrecognized. But it wasn't an obscure little movie, it had fairly big stars although the lead male was more famous on the small screen at the time. The antagonist, pictured in the screenshot above, died 2 years ago at the age of 93. He had a very successful career and retired after making this movie in the early 90's. Here's another screenshot from the same movie:

No clue, but I thought Honeysuckle Rose was easy. :) What do I know?

Yeah, you never know sometimes. This one was a fun movie about a rich adventurer kind of guy who goes with the daughter of a wine dealer to pick up a bottle of wine with great historic worth.

Louis Jordan is in pursuit of a chemical recipe for the secret of immortality that is apparently hidden inside the case the wine is in. The movie is called Year of the Comet, not to be confused with Night of the Comet, an equally entertaining movie from several years earlier. Starring Tim Daly and Penelope Ann Miller who was just starting her run of lead roles.

The text over her chest is edited by someone unknown to me but in no way connected to the movie itself.

Should be an easy one with the memorable supporting character in the shot (or maybe I've just seen this film too many times).

It took 4 watches for my wife to finally admit she liked this movie. She was a big Mel fan and didn't like his turn as an anti-hero but I loved it from the start. I especially loved the 70's/80's style bad guys. Easily my favorite Westlake adaptation. Payback.

It really is one of my 10 favorite movies when I'm feeling a little down and want to smile. It's a little dark but to me it's like Snatch, it just makes me laugh. And what a cast of characters. It's the best mildly campy film noir movie I'm aware of.

Its Boogie Nights! "I am a star, a big bright shining star!" Great movie, funny and also very sad in parts.

Yeah, it's not my type of movie at all but I loved it. I don't re-watch it often, it's a little too sad for me at times. But it was a showcase movie for the early days of DVD and, still today, it's well worth watching even without the beautifully underdressed Rollergirl.

And it's your turn now.

It that's Denise Richards, then I need to see it!

Seriously? Other than her Oscar worthy turn in Starship Troopers, I've never really appreciated any of her roles. To me, her acting is as fake as her breasts.

Dangit I know that it's the one where they are running for class president or something??? Crap I'll never remember the name. Wasn't she running against Kirsten Dunst?
