I actually came up with a solution to the whole BCS mess today over dinner. Developed a system where 9 teams would compete in the playoffs, and use current bowls to make up the games.
My friends thought it was a good system, and it gives preference to teams that won their conference, but would still give teams like OU a shot at the title (even though they weren't conference champs), and still giving small schools a shot at a big game, unlike the current system.
I don't know if anyone is interested in seeing it, but it's too late to type it all out tonight, and it probably wouldn't make any sense. Maybe someone should start a thread on different bowl ideas and people can post, and then everyone vote on what they think would be the best option.
