That's funny because he's in my top 10 male vocalists of all time. I get that he's not for everybody, though. I felt similar to you with Faith No More. Loved the tunes but just never enjoyed Patton's voice.

I love Claudio for his other talents with the guitar, music, and lyric writing as well. On top of all that he came up with the entire Amory Wars science-fiction concept that most of the albums reference. The guy is a creative fountain. I'm definitely in fan-boy territory when it comes to this band and I'm ok with that.

They are quite amazing all around but I have the same issue with rush, except with coheed, it bothers me even more. I just feel like it doesn't match the music.

The ears like what the ears like. Art will always be subjective. Fortunately, we live in a world with endless options.

I never really got into them over the vocals either which seems strange since Rush is one my my all time favorites. I'm not sure why Geddy clicks but Claudio doesn't. Coheed does have some bangers though.

That's pretty damn impressive. Extra level of difficulty using the 12-string for all that hammer-on/pull-off stuff. It's a very nice original piece on top of it all.
