I've never liked Jack Black, the guy just bugs me. My personal favorite role of his would be in The Jackal and the best part of that performance is he only gets a few minutes of screen time AND Bruce Willis gets to kill him (understatement).

For me, the guy is like the extreme version of everything I hated about Adam Sandler without any of the things I liked about the guy. Give Black a key role in a motion picture and the only way I watch the movie is with a loaded gun at my head. And I probably make the guy prove the gun is loaded.

I preferred Kung Fu Panda as well.

Except that wasn't really a "Jack Black movie".

I'd ask why you don't like Tropic Thunder, but then I remember you love Transformers 2 and and a voice in my head says, "Oh. Right." :D

People said it was so very funny, my expectations were too high, I didn't think it was funny at all. Stopped at ten minutes.

We're just going to have to disagree on this one dammit. And don't bring it up again.

Wait, I know who that Jay B guy is. He is the one too scared to go on the roller coaster in Knocked Up.

I bought it on Blu-Ray and watched the whole thing. As soon as I finished watching it I started calling friends and relatives to see if there was a sucker who'd trade something for it. A relative gave me Lost In Space for it and I figure that makes me the the Cowboys side of the Herschel Walker trade. I haven't watched Lost In Space yet but I'm confident I traded up.

Stopped at ten minutes.

So what you are basically saying is that you have no clue if you like the movie or not because you haven't even seen it.

If it doesn't keep my interest in the first 10-20 minutes, I am done.

It didn't. Sight gags of people gets legs blown off, dumb.

So like i said??? You haven't seen it. You must give up on a TON of movies if 10 minutes is your attention span for a movie to grab you.
