Sandwich Middle/High (4-0, 2-0) maintained their perfect start to the girls lacrosse season with an emphatic 20-2 win over Hanover on Friday.
Avery Cobban led the way with five goals and an assist, while Elisabeth Stutzman tallied four goals and two assists. Quinn Anderson chipped in a trio of goals and assists and Kolbie Darmon had a hat trick and an assist. Kyla Darmon tallied two goals and two assists. Abby Reisig, Paige Morrison and Addie Greene each scored a goal.
Ashlynn Krueger made three saves in goal.

Upper Cape 8, Southeastern 5: The Rams (2-2) have recorded back-to-back wins since starting the year with two straight defeats. Emma Hanoian recorded a hat trick, while Lauren Cox and Macee Pina each scored twice. Jessi Girouard tallied a goal. Mary King had an exceptional game in net making several high pressure saves in the critical scoring area. Thea Haupt also had a stand out game at center, controlling nine of 13 draws.
Somerset Berkley 6, Bourne 5: The Canalmen dropped to 0-5 on the season after they suffered a defeat to South Coast Conference foe Somerset Berkley.
Falmouth 11, Bridgewater-Raynham 4: The Clippers (2-2) have recorded two straight wins after they started the year 0-2.
Bourne 22, Somerset Berkley 5: The Canlamen (1-3) got off the mark behind Ty Hawkes and Ryan Haden who both had five goals and four assists. The nine-point game pushed Hawkes across the 100-career point threshold for a total of 104. Brady Banks notched four goals and an assist, Charlie Sietz tallied seven assists to go with a hat trick and Sean Kelley had two assist and won 77 percent of his face-offs. Brody Haden scored twice, while Max Beals scored his first career goal. Max Ridl also scored a goal. Nolan Scofield made 12 saves to back up a strong defensive performance by Frank Gruel, Chris Donahue and Mycah Hingston.
Falmouth 6, Norwell 5: The Clippers (2-1) secured a second straight win in a non-league matchup.
Bishop Feehan 15, Sandwich 3: Cole Rodgers scored twice in the loss for the Blue Knights (2-3). Reece MacKinnon, who had a goal, won 12 of out 22 face-offs. Than Hunt made seven saves. Luke Rodgers, Tate Baeker, and Trevor Jollin had strong defensive games despite the defeat.
South Shore Tech 8, Cape Tech 2: The Crusaders (0-6) are still awaiting their first win of the season.
Sandwich 4, Cohasset 0: The Lady Knights (5-2) have collected three wins from their last four games after they topped Cohasset. Sophie Farrington pitched her second straight shutout, striking out 12 batters. Maddie Brown and Capri Barber led the offense. Defensively Mia Consalvi, Amaya Balboni and Isabella DeSilva played great in the win.
Sturgis East 14, Nantucket 5: The Storm (4-1) topped the Whalers (1-4) for a second straight win to improve to 2-0 in the Cape and Islands in the process. Sam Orcutt had a three hits and scored three times. Julianna Grygent and Aubrey Flynn had three hits each, Molly Reino scored three times and Elsa Weisner had two hits and crossed home plate twice. Weisner pitched the complete game, where she gave up six hits, four runs and struck out six batters.
New Bedford 11, Falmouth 1: The Clippers (0-4) are still in search of their first win of the season.
West Bridgewater 10, Bourne 1: The Canlamen (1-4) have dropped four straight games since winning their season opener. Tucker Muldoon continued to hit the ball well, recording a pair of hits in the loss. Luca Finton drove in the lone run in the first inning on a double to left field.
Barnstable 3, Martha’s Vineyard 2: The Red Hawks (2-3) stopped a two-game slide with a close victory over the Vineyarders (1-2). Gio White earned the win on the mound, throwing a complete game while striking out eight batters. Braedon Costello provided a spark defensively, recording six putouts and turned an unassisted double play in the sixth inning to shift the momentum of the game.
Falmouth 5, New Bedford 4: The Clippers (3-2) held on to beat New Bedford behind Josh Matta's complete game on the mound and ended a two-game losing streak in the process. Matta allowed just four hits and no earned runs, while he struck out seven batters. Eathen Vecchione had a RBI single to drive in Jack Frostholm after a Frostholm double in the bottom of third. Max Inman had a big day going 2-for-3 with two RBIs off a big hit in the bottom of the fifth. Brody Palmer went 1-for-2 and had a sixth-inning RBI. Connor Scarpellini went 2-for-3 at the plate.
Nantucket 9, Sturgis 3: The Whalers (2-2) halted a two-game losing streak against the Navigators (0-2). Nolan Bordun pitched four shutout innings in the loss.
Dennis-Yarmouth 8, Nauset 1: After falling behind 1-0 in the third inning, the Dolphins scored eight unanswered to remain undefeated. The Warriors (1-2) were unable to build upon their first win of the season.
Wareham 3, Bourne 2: The Canalmen (0-3) fell short in their quest for a first win of the season. McKinley Wenzel defeated Neveah Smith in three-set dual (6-2, 5-7, 6-4) in second singles, while Lily Russell and Ella Swierkowski beat Riley Florindo and Lan Tra in straight sets (6-6, 3-2)
Maia Ledwell defeated Anjali O'Brien 6-0, 6-0 in first singles and Genevieve Mranchie defeated Sophia Votteler 7-6, 6-3 in second singles for the Clippers (2-2).
Nauset 3, Monomoy 2: The Warriors (2-1) have won back-to-back matches. Haley Jackson defeated Victoria Chbarbi in three-set battle (6-0, 5-7, 6-2) in third singes. Faye Adams and Chloe Hand dropped just two games in a win over Alexis Christian and Phoebe Hodgson in first doubles (6-0, 6-2), while Elexa Malouin and Callie Murphy defated Liliana Pariseau and Kirkland O'Leary in a straight sets (6-1, 6-4).

Henry Daigle and Rowan Lewison defeated Will Sutton and Alden Krieg 6-0, 6-2 in first doubles, while Cooper Hall and Austin Newhall emerged victorious over Troy Markling and Leon Kamberi in second singles (6-0, 6-1).
