Looks like it is going to be a big hit. For those who have played Halo and Halo 2, which one did you like better? I preferred Halo.

I preferred single player in HALO but multiplayer in HALO 2. This game is going to rock and smash all sales records. Wait and see.

I personally feel that the Halo franchise is the most overrated game of our generation. Gears of War trumps everything good about Halo.

Wow. Couldn't disagree more. GOW was a great game but really shallow in story line. The presentation was fantastic but the the story wasn't all that great or cohearant at times. Mutliplayer is also nothing special IMO.

I think just the opposite that GOW was a little overatted because of the presentation and eye candy. You put that aside and GOW wasn't as good as single player in Halo1. Notice I said Halo1. I loved single player more in Halo1 but loved mutiplayer in Halo2 over 1. Halo 2 single player campaign was a real dissapointment to me.

Just comparing Halo2 to GOW, I did prefer GOW single player campaign to Halo 2's single player. However, Halo 3 will set the bar for FPS on a console IMO. I can't wait to see if that happens.
