Happy for Corey Peters and Christian Kirk

I just am. I'm not going to make this a narrative about how much they could have helped us this season had they been retained, I'm merely wishing them and the Jags well in the playoffs. Two likable guys who contributed to this team when they were here. Yes, it stings seeing them have the success we thought we'd have, but I hope this front office sees the job that Doug Pederson has done, and how a good coach took a sorry team, coached them up to believe in themselves and the mission, and now the Jaguars have relegated us to the trash heap they once occupied. All I can do is shake my head.

Its worse when you realize that we played a lot of 4-3 this year and Collins wasn't replacing Hicks, Ben Neimann was was.

Apparently you haven't read the threads for games the previous two years, with people calling Hicks slow and trash and not saying very many good things about Peter's as well.

Hicks is what he is...an absolute plodding run stuffer that can't do jack in the passing game. Like, even basic coverage. He was the Spillane of Arizona. Surround him with a lot of talent and he can work. We certainly didn't and couldn't do that.

Absolutely. Said it for multiple years while he was here. Same with Devondre Campbell the year he was here. It's all relative. Everyone is quick to dog the talent but they don't remember the real trash we have run out on the field over the years, especially at LB.
