Harry Potter: Adult Years

Am I the only one who wishes they would release an R rated Harry Potter with action, wizard on wizard violence, wizard on witch love scenes geared toward adults?

I really enjoy the movies but there is still that "kids will see this" undertones that don't really seem natural. For instance, these kids have access to these wizard like herbs and they're isn't JR Wizards getting stoned before class?

I already think that the movies are too scary for young kids, why not just take it a few steps further and take it out of Hogwarts on to the streets of London. Have Harry shoot off some adult sized spells and have the wizard super battle.

Unfortunately Rowling wants to end the series, which is why a lot of people speculate she will kill off Harry in the last book so no one can use him later.

But yes it would be fantastic for them to continue with the series. With the world she has crafted it could go a lot of places.

I'd actually be more interested in the rise of Voldemort, the killing of Harry's parents, etc etc, taking you up to the events at the beginning of book one, and what happened in the wizard world before Harry became 10.

Would be much darker and more death etc. The prequel would be very interesting.
