Has Green ever publicly addressed THE PLAY from last Thursday?

If mentioned already here, I missed it. He definitely has some explaining to do, so it's hard to believe he just dismisses it. Fans do deserve players to step up (or man up) and express their thoughts and feelings to all those fans who in a sense pay his salary.

Ehhh he doesn’t need to nor is he required to. KK explained it and that’s more than enough. I’m sure he’s seen the vitriol thrown his way. He owns nobody anything but the guys in that locker room.

Wow.. thats a whole new level.. We all have our bad days.. I was disappointed but to go at him at that level.. at the end of the day he is doing something I physically can’t do. Still supporting him.
Yeah. We immediately felt bad for him and never thought to attack him. That's just craziness.

That tweet is just one stupid fool which I am sure all pro athletes learn to ignore whenever those kind of people open their filthy mouths.

I still feel that most every pro athlete would step up after a bit and simply state what happened from their perspective on the play. It's not like a bunch of fans are going to stone him. We aren't in Philadelphia.

For me, I am not interested in what others say to cover his rear end. And it's not that I want to rub it in, or have him relive the agony. Just want to know from his perspective what and how it could happen like that.

I suppose he doesn't owe us an explanation. But rather I feel most pro athletes would know fans want to know, out of curiosity if nothing else. How could such a weird thing happen at such an important juncture of the game? No other player or coach knows what he was thinking at the time, so anything they say is just their own imagination or something they would say to end the discussion and cover his back as good teammates do.

If he was on the old Johnny Carson show this week, the first thing Carson would say to him after showing the play for all to see again is (as he did Hugh Grant), "What the hell were you thinking?"

We already know it was a called run play and Kyler audibled. Due to crowd noise he didn’t hear it. What more do you want?

Once upon a time my now ex wife told me all men think about is their penis. A few weeks later I was telling her about something I did that didn't go right and she asked me what was I thinking About? And of course I told her I was thinking about my penis! Probably why we got divorced

Damn AJ for breaking the long-standing tradition of pros publicly addressing bad plays.

The Cards lost this game fair and square. Don't turn the ball over before that last play and we might be having a different conversation if the Cards won in overtime. The Cards 4th down stop was legit but to blame 1 guy destroys the team unity that got this team to 7-0. Time to get to 8-1 and put the AJ Green play into the past.

It wasn't a run play. It was a pass over the middle on a clear out but the all out blitz up the middle put AJ one on one.

Believe me, I've moved on. But I do think that it's worth a comment refuting crowd noise. With the roof opened, shouldn't the noise be lessened (if that's the correct word)?

I thought he was thinking about his penis when he didn’t turn around. Guess I was right.
