Looking at his numbers early he has only committed 2 errors so far and seems more confident at third base. He is currently on pace for 47 homers and 104 RBI's, plus his average is at .275. He still stikes out a bunch, but I will take that at long as he gets 40 homers and 100 RBI's. I think he is just as important to the long term of this team as Upton is. Drew will leave the first chance he gets and Young is never going to be anything great. The best part about Mark is that he never played AAA and only player like 65 games in AA. His defense will improve every year that he plays and you can not teach power.

By the way, Jack Cust struck out 197 times in 481 AB's, while Mark struck out 204 times in 539 AB's. Jack got lucky that he missed two week last year since he struck out 41% of the time and Mark struck out 38% of the time.

Yeah, he should have at least 4 or 5 more errors if not for a very forgiving scorekeeper.

Apparently they don't expect him to make the plays that any other major league third baseman would make.

He almost threw one into the dugout in either Sat or Sun's game. Tracy had to jump to pull down the ball and still made the out.

Reynolds will make a million dollar play like his over the shoulder full extention grab during Sunday's game and then will make 3 bone headed plays.

He's about 50-50 with that ratio now. (Which is still very high)
