Southern’s Jared Haskiell was voted Western Maryland Athletic Conference Player of the Year by the conference’s coaches, and the rest of the squad was revealed Thursday.
Haskiell, who became a 1,000-point scorer this season, scored 521 points for a 21.7 points per game average and hit 73 3-pointers.
The senior made 110 of 129 free throws, an area-leading 85.3% clip.
Fort Hill won the WestMAC with a 7-1 record. The Sentinels have captured at least a share of the conference title in three straight seasons.
Mountain Ridge was second with a 5-3 record, followed by Southern (4-4), Allegany (3-5) and Northern (1-7).
Haskiell was joined on the first team by Allegany’s Chris Manherz, who was runner-up for conference Player of the Year, Fort Hill’s Liam Hamilton and Gamil Daniels, Mountain Ridge’s Ian Duncan and Southern’s Brayden Upole.
The second team was comprised of Mountain Ridge’s Cameron Breighner and Owen McGeady, Allegany’s Eli Imes, Fort Hill’s Jabril Daniels and Southern’s Graham Harvey.
Earning honorable mention honors were Devin McKenzie, Caleb Hinebaugh and Liam Stewart (Northern), Landyn Ansel (Allegany) and Landen Sweitzer (Fort Hill).
The girls All-WestMAC team has not yet been decided.
