Reports are that he's expected to hit FA. I think he might be the best "bridge" between a young guy -- skelton or tba--and winning now.

Health is a concern, but smarts and ability isnt.

Discuss.

is a bit out of topic but his brother said this on twitter ''Marc Bulger retired two years ago. He just doesn't know it."

I'm a Seahawk fan here to see what you folks think about this very topic.
Would you guys be happy to see Matt Hasselbeck signed by the Cardinals to be
your starting QB?

Wasn't there a rumor that the Cards were interested in him last year? I could see him coming here. He's a better option than Bulger and probably McNabb, and he won't cost as much as Orton or Kolb.

If he can stay healthy it wouldn't bother me a bit.

I would not mind seeing him here. I think he would be a good mentor for whoever the young QB is. Certainly Whiz is no QB mentor.

Yeah, two yrs. and an option or buyout might get it done.

For that he might just want to stay put though.

Thanks but no thanks, if we are going old and crusty give me McNaab over Hass or Bulger.

Not me! Matt is smart and was a very good QB but he is over the hill and injury prone at his age. If anyone signs him it should be no more than a year and you better have a good backup in case he is injured. I think we are better served with one of the other older FA QBs. I would suspect he also expects some major dollars.

Matt is the kind of player a strike will hurt more than the younger guys. He probably does not have much more than 2 years left in his body. He sure would not want to lose one of them while the union guys proceed to sue the NFL which will only prolong the strike and in no way lead to an agreement.

Considering our other options, absolutely.

I hate this guy with every fiber of my being. Mainly, that's because he's scorched us so many times.

So yes, I would love to see him in a Cards uni, as long as he is healthy.

Levi Brown is one of if not the worst left tackle in the NFL...and he is supposed to protect some old injury prone QB's blindside?

Put Brown back at RT or G and get a quality LT and I would be on board with bringing Hasselbeck, Bulger, or any other fossil to AZ.

They would disbar the union, then sue the owners in a class action anti-trust.

Headed by the likes of Manning, Brady, Brees, ect.
