That’s modern liberalism to a T. The facts are irrelevant. Intent is irrelevant. If someone is offended, it’s offensive and their level of outrage determines the perceived level of hate that was incorporated. Sad.
No it isn’t. And if you really believe that then I suppose it’s equally accurate to say all conservatives are racist? Cmon man be better than that.

Don’t stop, you’re just proving me to be right.
How so? I am LITERALLY telling you that that is NOT the way to do things? Are you really that obtuse so as to not understand what I’m saying?

I’ll make it simple for you, I do NOT believe that all conservatives are racist. In fact I think painting any group that broadly is an affront to humanity and the individual. But if you say that all liberals act in some manner, then you have to accept the same line of reasoning when the same tactics are turned against your professed “team.” Can you really not understand that?

Right, and Left are largely meaningless political constructs in the 21st century.

And I've rarely met an American self-proclaimed conservative who could actually name a conservative philosopher or had read a book on the subject.

I've written and rewritten the folowing about 6 or 7 times trying to get it down right.

Can't do it.

Best I can come up with is (a) it's unfair to automatically "assume" someone who distrusts big government is automatically a racist or that someone who feels big government can help society is automatically a "Commie, ***** flower child." Humans are more complex than that.

(b) Getting overly upset because someone doesn't believe the same way you do about the role of government - is a waste of emotional energy (i.e. you're willing to do battle over a disagreement over the size of government? C'mon, man!)

And this is why I can't stand you "progressives". You're elitist snobs who look down your noses at anyone who doesn't buy into your philosophy. And somehow we conservatives are "stupid" because we don't believe the government should control every aspect of our lives. I know, I know, we're such backwoods rubes for wanting to control our own lives. That we believe in the principles of the Constitution. That people should be free to live their lives as we see fit just so long as it doesn't infringe on anyone else's life through force or fraud. That we want to be able to defend ourselves against criminals. That people should be responsible for their actions. That people should be judged as individuals and their own merits instead of what group dynamic they belong to. Yep, those are some outdated concepts.

Oh, and as for your elitist comment, I've yet to meet a progressive who can point to any point in time that socialism, true socialism, wasn't responsible for death, destruction, and out and out misery for the majority of the citizens and where it says in our Constitution where one citizen is financially responsible for another citizen.

Oh, and incidentally, I've read Locke, Bastiat, Snow, Burke, Freedman, and the writings of our founders. I've also read and have a copy of the Communist Manifesto and Rules for Radicals.

But this is what progressives do all the time Ouchie. All the fricken time. I can sit here and post links to progressive after progressive who say ALL conservatives and Trump supporters are racist, misogynist, or whatever other -ist they can think of. I've heard of friendships ending and family rifts and even marriages ending simply because someone dared not vote for Queen Hillary. I hear progressive blacks tell conservative blacks that they are traitors to their race. My own mother in law said, to my face, that anyone who voted for or supports Trump is a "racist bully". Yeah, I'm such a racist that I not only have taken children of all stripes into my home and cared for them as if they were my own, we actually adopted a black child. I was so insulted by her comment that I walked out of her house and didn't speak to her for a month.

And after all of that reading, you offer little more than the frothing at the mouth, which fails to understand that your simplistic left-right, right-left views are an impediment to progress.

No one in their right mind advocates for, as you describe, "true" socialism. Do you actually believe that countries that include social democratic policy solutions are one step from the Gulag?

P.S. I'm a progressive-conservative who spent a decade as a political aide in a Conservative government.

Let's leave it there.

Dale Hansen is more full of ***** than Bickley and Gambodoro put together. He lives in the 1970s.

Maybe he can tell me which black owner, coach or GM has ever worked in Dallas? None. The fact that Jerrih relies too much on The Ginger only shows his incompetence as an owner. Heck, there are only 4 black guys on the whole staff,: 2 of them are conditioning coaches, and one position coach is Leon "Lett It Be." The entire front office is names Jones, and The Ginger's brother is "director of special projects." And their dad was a scout for the Cowpokes.

Their whole team screams inbred nepotism.
You sure have a problem with the pigment deficient

Um im progressive and I don’t believe that. So your argument fails. And even if it held water, the “they do it so I’m going to do it” is a lame excuse to take repugnant action. Man, I’m obviously not going to convince you not to lump anyone that disagrees with you into a giant stereotypical pot. I feel sorry for you if that’s the case.
