Cuban deserves what he gets, idiot. The fans dont deserve it, but the micromanaging owner does, he's a jackass. ALot of fans nowdays are just ignornat impatient idiots who think they are smarter than the best basketball people. But in the case of that Mavs trade, it may be that they are right. Its hard to fathom how Kidd/Harris trade with the loss of Diop makes the mavs more competitive with the spurs, Hornets, Jazz, lakers, and suns. I smell a rotten cuban cigar, and avery doesnt look very smart right now if he wanted this.

I wonder what Avery would have gotten in return (if it's true) he wanted to move Dirk. Probably a lot. I think Avery just wants a true leader on the court. I just couldn't understand the Mavs going after Kidd. I'm thinking letting Nash go is still rattling around in Cuban's head.

As if letting nash go already looked very stupid, now after the kidd trade it looks sick-to-the-bottom-of-your-stomach stupid.

I really legitimately feel sorry for mavs fans now, and that is saying something.

Without Diop they have absolutely no real depth at C, Heavy Hitter C+PF teams like the Spurs(now with KT at C or PF alongside duncan I presume)/Suns/Lakers will absolutely crush them.

Dallas is now 5th on the "can they win a championship?" list behind Lakers, NOH, Suns, and Spurs. Sucks to be them.

As a matter of fact I don't see how they would be able to deal with UTAH/HOUSTON anymore either. Can damp stop boozer or Yao in the playoffs where they would play probably 40 MPG? Dallas is screwed.
