I suppose the following can visit anyone:
PK Bill Gramatica, CB Nijrell Eason, and G Teag Whiting, Jeff Blake, Chris Dishman, CB Emmanuel McDaniel, Jason starkey and DT Derrick Ransom
what a sorry lot...Gramatica, dishman and blake will probably at least get a shot at training camp with someone....Eason, Whiting and Starkey will probably be out of the NFL...mcdaniel and ransom were available last year..and I am not sure if they had many options (besides the cardinals)...
Kind of sad how jeff blake was considered a top 3 qb free agent last year (along with delhomme, kordell and maybe griese) at the qb position....and one season later he seems to have dropped off of everyones radar (although I may have missed it if he signed elsewhere)... but..griese and kordell have had a comparable plunge...
in typing this in..it got me to thinking....with the exception of barrett...perhaps we did just drop the 7 or 8 worst players off of the 53 man roster (which is how it should be)....and I am sure that by the time the season starts we will probably knock another 5 - 7 guys off of the bottom of the roster....
