We all laughed about the 'insane relationship' with the Kings Doug Christie and his wife, but to be honest, the more I hear the scarier it becomes. Mrs. Christie is a stone-cold nut, and I really don't see this relationship ending any other way than badly (hopefully not effecting anyone else but their crazy-selves).

Sounds like she has an excellent case. This is the type of case where a huge punative damage award is justified - to send a message to all pro teams that you can't treat women as second class citizens.

And I hope the Christies get hit with a big judgement as well. It is one thing to be in love, another to be psycho-stalking.

It is absolutely unbelieveable to me that a professional organization could allow a spouse of one of its employees to effect the way a business is run and allow said person to do the things Jackie Christie is being accused of. She must be one scary person, because it doesn't seem like many people are willing to tell her stop running roughshot over any female that even looks at her husband. She is going to go to far one day, and I just hope she doesn't hurt (or worse) any poor girl that talks to her husband.

From previous discussions we've had about Christie and his whacko wife - doesn't she also make him change and shower in a seperate locker room, or area? What's up with that? Is she afraid the other players will be talking about women? Does she fear a female reporter may ask him a question after a game?

During Christie's time in Toronto, Jackie was uncomfortable that women working for the Raptors went into the locker room to distribute statistics after games. So Doug began dressing in an adjacent room. An Eastern Conference team official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said that he had warned the Kings about obtaining Christie two years ago because of some of the issues his wife had raised in Toronto.

"I just felt I needed to protect my territory in the beginning," Jackie said. "So I had a lot of issues. I have a jealous bone in my body, yes. It's probably as big as me. I'm very easygoing until I feel a threat."

She added: "Doug is allowed to look at females. I would prefer he didn't."

Jackie sometimes has made it clear to her husband and team employees that certain female reporters should not be allowed to interview her husband unless she is present. "If she wants an interview, I will attend it with my husband so there can be no games," she said.
