8 players scored 20+

Stephen Jackson scored 42.

Jason Collier scored 20+ :D

Atlanta shoot 55.4%, Washington 54.9%. Guess if you put up 2 horrible teams against each other they can make it one heck of an entertaining game.

If we lose tonight Atlanta has tied us! And don't they own the tie-breaker? We lost at home against them I think.

Tie breakers don't matter for the lottery. Each tied team gets the same number of chances for a top-three pick, and if neither gets one, a coin flip determines who drafts first. The Suns were tied with Miami in the 2002 lottery and won the coin flip to draft ninth instead of tenth. (In fact, I think the coin flips are done "provisionally" before the lottery is held.)

It been a long time since the hawks were good at anything, I dont see why we should assume they are going to be good at tanking either

Their management is tanking it. Their players and coaches are not. If the Atlanta Hawks put a less talented team on the floor it would be illegal.

I wouldn't get carried away. Remember, this is the Magic they they beat. :D

BTW, the Heat won while the Knicks and Celtics lost. The optimal situation would be if the Cavs made it and the Knicks didn't, because the Knicks would be maybe 9th in draft and the Suns get their ping pong balls.

I know the chances of this happening are slim to none, but if both of those picks ended up in the top three Jerry Colangelo better sell the team quickly. I say that because the court of public opinion will have him convicted and swiftly executed before the next day's papers print.

I just sit up nights worrying about the Suns ending up with two picks in the top three.

George, one of those draft picks will be going to Utah. What I'm saying is that if the Phoenix Suns have to fork over a top three draft pick he'll get crucified by the public.

They should have been crucified at the time. :D

Realiticaly, the Knicks are likely to slip into the playoffs if Allan Houston is able to play. Marbury needs a pure shooter to kick out to off the penitration and they looked bad when Van Horn was traded while Houston was not playing.
