The Atlanta Hawks are hopeful that backup point guard Dennis Schroder will be able to play in Game 3 against Boston after injuring his left ankle. Schroder was hurt in the closing minutes of Tuesday night's 89-72 victory over the Celtics, which gave the Hawks a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. X-rays were negative, and Schroder has a couple of days to recover before the series resumes Friday night in Boston.
