A Michigan State fan with a social media following on Instagram and other social media said the Wolverines wouldn't win the Big Ten tournament or advance to the Final Four.

Now Armando, a content creator with 11,500 followers on his "Unfiltered Sports" Instagram account, said on Tuesday that he will follow through with his challenge and spend 24 hours at McDonald's restaurants in Ann Arbor and East Lansing.

The Wolverines proved him wrong by beating Wisconsin Sunday 59-53, to win the Big Ten Tournament after struggling at the end of the regular season and opening March 0-3.

The content creator is expected to travel from Chicago to Ann Arbor and East Lansing to complete the challenge, McDonald's announced in a news release.

What is the 24-Hour McDonald’s Challenge?

The ‘24-Hour McDonald’s Challenge' is often used as a form of punishment among fantasy football fans, requiring a player who finishes last in their league sit in a McDonald's for 24 hours.

Participants can "eat their way out" to cut down their time.

I finished in last place in fantasy football, and tomorrow I have to do my punishment.

In this case, for every McChicken sandwich Armando eats, he will deduct an hour of his time. He even agreed to wear a T-shirt with "Little Brother" printed on it, another nod to the Michigan-Michigan State rivalry.

"I hope your Wolverines are happy. If you want to pull up, go for it," Armando said on Instagram Tuesday.

Where will Armando do his challenge?

Armando encourages fans to cheer or boo him as he completes the challenge at the following locations:

Ann Arbor: 2675 Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor starting at 5:30 p.m., where he will begin the challenge.

East Lansing: He will arrive at 1024 E. Grand River Ave. in East Lansing at 10 p.m. to complete the challenge.
