The Cowboys are starting to make a believer out of me. Does a coach like Parcells really make that much difference? I used to think not but am now rethinking this. Last year the Cowboys were just plain bad. Quincy Carter is now starting to produce in his second year (what is McCown doing?). If the Cowboys can turn it around in one year could we? We do not have a Quincy Carter in waiting. I think it all starts with a QB. Until we get a good one to build around we will always flounder. It looks to me like we will have the #1 or #2 pick next year so if there is a franchise type QB out there I would take him. Of course the Bears will be doing the same thing and I think they will be our competitor. Peyton Manning is really firing up Mississippi. They crushed Alabama and he is starting to look like the rest of the Manning family. I will watch them play Arkansas next week and I suspect he will kick our a---. I do not know what coach is out there that could really turn a team around but they sure should be looking for one now. Is Green the DC for the Vikings? They seem to really be playing well. At any rate we need someone who management will allow to run the team and have input like Parcells. That new stadium will do nothing for us unless we can field a team and we better start getting our act together now. If Mike Bidwill thinks this team is capable of 8 and 8 then he must be smoking something strange. Mac's time has come and gone and the team knows it and he knows it so do not expect a lot of fire out of these guys for the rest of the year.
