The Titans now have three picks in the 2nd round and two in the 3rd round, (all between 33 - 45 in the 2nd round). If we're looking to trade down to pick up a pick in place of the one we traded for Chandler, they're the first call we should be making.

Yeah they are an obvious trade partner if a prospect they like falls to our pick. But I wouldn't expect too much. They've been stockpiling picks for a reason. They have more holes than one draft can fill and having that many picks in rounds 2 and 3 will help them to get much better if they don't whiff completely.

Plus, they don't need a QB, and at 29, the available position players aren't usually worth trading a stockpile of picks for.

If they miss out on OT at 15, they might want to trade up for a guy like Spriggs. But outside of that I don't see any one position worth trading up for. It will be interesting to see if they can capitalize with all of these picks. They have the advantage of already having a young QB to build around also.

There would have to be someone available at 29 that the Titans were really scared wouldn't be there 4 picks later at 33 for them to give up anything of value. Or, if there are two players they love and could get at 29 & 33 then they might be willing to sacrifice the other two picks at 43 & 45 to get them. But, as nice as it sounds, need to think of it from their perspective too.

If Cleveland doesn't grab a QB at #2 they may want to flip #33 and a later pick for Lynch if he's available at #29. Chooper's list remains in play.

There will be no position where a sure-thing player is available at 29 that an equally similar player wouldn't be at 33, with exception of the Center and TE position where 1 guy stands out above all others. Plus I think 2nd and 3rd round picks are the sweetest picks in this draft. Picks after round 3 or 4 are really pretty worthless this year. There is just not much difference between those projected 5th rounders and those who don't get drafted at all. It will be like throwing darts blindfolded trying to pick a player after round 4 who could even make your team.
