It works for me as well. Wow...I wonder why he is hot to trot for the club?!

It's a great investment. Rangers are a legendary team. Without looking it up, I'd say they've won 40+ different championships in Scotland. Not sure exactly what happened a couple of years ago, but basically they went down the crapper financially, so it's a great time to buy. Invest some money to return the team to it's previous glory, and then collect pure profit forever.

IIRC they went bankrupt and changed ownership but without going through proper channels and as a result got relegated to the lowest level of Scottish football. Most nations have 4 tiers so its going to take them 4 years to dig out back to the top level, all while basically earning zero TV and probably very little sponsor money because they are in such lousy leagues. But, its been like 2-3 years since the club got relegated so they are probably on the verge of returning to the top tier. Sarver is picking a good time to jump on the ship. The club is super cheap at the moment but if they get their momentum back under them upon reaching the top tier the value will skyrocket in very short time.

They are #2 in the second tier, so they'll move up next year most likely.

They rejected Sarver's latest offer so he said he's done for now.

“Clearly the current directors have a different path they want to go down,” Sarver said in a statement.

“I’m disappointed the Rangers board has rejected my revised offer, which addressed the club’s immediate and long-term needs,” added Sarver, who owns the Phoenix Suns basketball team.

“I hope for the sake of the club and the fans, who’ve been very warm and supportive towards me, that it works out. I wish the club and fans the best of luck.

“If they want my support in the future, then they only have to ask.”
