Harry, quite frankly I am totally baffled at all the different opinions and grades of offensive linemen in this years draft. So my question is which player fits the Cards the best.

Thomas
Wills
Wirfs
Becton
Other

Or would it be better to take Juedy and hope that a guy like Jones, Wanogho, or Jackson is there at 40?

I understand your opinion might change based on if Humphries is or is not on the team.

thanks in advance.

Josh Jones very likely wont be there in the 2nd round.

Teams love his super smooth pass sets. Dude gave up 4 pressures all year.

fwiw: Max Starks on 98.7 said he didnt think Andrew Thomas was a good fit for KK's offense

Lot’s of pulls and linemen in space in the offense. Just remember How much We Saw Hump and Pugh on the outside.

Lite fooded and atlectic types.

This is why I don’t think it makes sense to address the OLine at 8. Seems to be a bunch of guys closely graded and depending what your preference is , you can probably get a similarly graded guy in the 2nd. At this point I’d rather have a game changer at 8(Lamb, Jeudy, Simmons, Kinlaw, Brown,Okudah and even Espenesa).

Same as BACH... Spot on! KKs offenses thrive on superior QB talent, decent WRs/TEs, and marginal OL. Not sure why that recipe would change in the NFL.

At R1P8, I want an absolute difference maker. Someone who catches lots of passes, pressures / sacks the QB, or gets lots of INTs & PBUs; not a RT who will in all likelihood still get beat multiple times a game because we have a QB that likes to run around. We already have that!

Please Invest in difference makers in the Top 10.

I can see your point now looking at this again but first look I took it as intended.

and I’m anxiously waiting on Harry’s response:)

The exclamation point stops the tie in, so no I did not have a problem in thinking something was wrong with Harry... and no worries, draft Derrick Brown all day :)

That is just not true.

Wirfs is significantly better than Lucas Niang. I'm actually more and more, wanting the first round tackles.

The Cardinals are much closer on offense. I'd probably throw most of the FA money on defense, draft a tackle, a young TE, another RB and some young DL depth.

I second that on Derrick Brown. 30 times lol.

I'd rather have the guy who plays twice as many snaps and nullifies Derrick Brown on most plays.

I think it's like this Krang. The chances of the Cardinals drafting Brown are slim and the chances of Donald worrying about facing anyone other than Shipley have the same percentages... I will not have Brown down as my draft prediction, which will make me a Jeudy or Wirfs guy lol

I like Lamb alot more. You see him make contested catches that you dont see Jeudy make.

The recent talk is that Jeudy isnt nearly as revered among NFL scouts as he is with fans.

I think both guys are legit, with different strengths. It's the OT position which is tricky. Again, I am drawn to Wirfs as a right tackle and one of the others will probably be a LT starter but it's hard to determine who

You can flip that around by saying Jeudy won’t make many contested catches considering he won’t put himself in those situations due to his elite separation ability as opposed to Lamb.

Lamb gets lots of separation as well.

We just see Jeudy drop the ball when there is contact

Anyone who has ever seen any of our O lines this century know how much of a difference maker a good OT would be. When people are writing here that Hump is the best left tackle we have had and Bobbie Massey was the best right tackle (he gave up 27 sacks in 3 seasons) that the hell does that say about the quality of our tackles?

OT at #8 all day, every day. We can't keep ignore the foundation blocks for "more exciting" players.

Can you show me 5 contested catches he made this season? I've watched a bunch of him and he is always wide open AF.

That’s hyperbole. I feel like you're really just talking about that LSU game.

Lamb also went against Big 12 defenses who seem to play off-man like almost all the time.

Gladney was the only big time CB he went against & Gladney pretty much won that battle.

Each & every day I’m starting to feel more comfortable with Ruggs over Lamb as well.
