I have these certain computers in my office....a process that is required is set to "automatic" to start. When the workstation is rebooted it goes to a "paused" status. These processes have no dependencies, they just go to pause and I have to manually resume them everyday. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

If you are running XP and are on a network and log yourself off then some auto functions do not work properly

What OS is it? Is it a service (daemon) or a program? Any log messages?

Are there any errors or warnings in the event log?

I know netmeeting will stop responding also if certain ports are being blocked. Is there a firewall in place locally on the computer?
