ARZ doesn't have to trade any of their young OF's now, if no one wants to pony up top prospects just hold on to them until a playoff team gets desperate come trade deadline.

If we are crying poor then trading away young assets makes zero sense.

I agree with you, in theory you are correct. However, ARZ has an OF surplus problem and what is going to happen is some talented kids are going to get blocked and poached in Rule 5 Drafts. ARZ dodged a bullet with Dominic Canzone not being taken this year. I think he could be just as good as McCarthy.

I would think ARZ is targeting other controllable talent in possible trades, they are not going to target player making bank, hell they aren't willing to sign anyone to over $5M these days. Kendrick is itching to get rid of MadBum's contract.
