section 450...we were holdin it down. i sit 4 rows behind azsouthendzone and his crew, and i gotta say, our section is the best upstairs. we had those S.A.F.E people come up and tell us to sit down, we kindly told them to suck it, and went on rockin the house. that game was AWESOME

I would put the % of Steeler fans at more like 40%... They were very loud at first, but so were us Cards fans! And by the middle of the 2nd quarter, things were clearly starting to turn! By halftime, the looks on the Steelers fans faces were priceless! Even though they had a 7-0 lead, they were in shock as it was so clear who was beating up who... Wow!
By throat is killing me right now. I never, ever make it a habit of heckling... However, the Steeler fans in my section were over the top! From the 2nd quarter on, I was relentless!!!

Glad to see you put that relentlessness to good use for a change... :D:thumbup:

P.S.

I would have paid money to see that.

You're calling me relentless?? ;)

C-Rad - I made you proud today buddy!!! Like I said, I never go after opposing fans. Always wanted to but always felt it was bad form. However, today was the exception and man did it feel GOOD!!!
Watching those fans leaving after Edge scored was a sight I'll never forget!

Well there's a time and a place for everything.

Comming into someone elses house and talking smack is bad form.

Good for you getting on them!!!

I was concerned at first when I saw the terrible towels. Then the surrender towels started spinning. Then the noise got loud.

I am so damn hoarse right now...my voice is shot and actually my throat hurts. I love being active in the endzone, getting people to get up.

Walking in I started chants of "Bandwagon" and "here we go Cardinals" and I forget because I was buzzing pretty hard after a couple of car bombs before we went in. I sobered up quick and was leading our section in yelling.

I can not wait until games like Carolina where we should outnumber those guys 1000 to 1. It is going to be freaking loud then.

Best thing about today's game, from a crowd standpoint....most of us were up and cheering for the entire game including the third quarter which for some reason is usually quiet and dead as hell.

Worst thing from a crowd standpoint...there are still people sitting in the endzone who don't get up or yell for the team when we are on Defense. They just sit there. I actually would rather see fans of the other team down there instead of you hand-under-ass people. You do no good and shouldn't be in the endzone. I have no love for those who can't get excited about yelling your guts out for our defense, win our lose.

I put it at 30 to 35 percent steeler fans.

Still a far cry from what we used to see at SDS.

They seriously had that many fans there? I gotta tell ya, watching it on tv it looked like it was a sea of red sprinkled with a couple yellow floaties. Either way, you guys rocked. The noise level was the game equivalent of quite a few game changing plays.

If someone said it was more than 40% I would not be surprised... There were a ton of Steeler fans. The most opposition fans at a Cards game I have yet to see - I've been a season ticket holder for 6 years now... I know there is a huge Steeler fanbase here in Phoenix, but damm - that many at our house is just wrong...

That said, we Card fans just ruled today... My throat HURTS like hell right now.

You guys were awesome. We truly have a Home Sweet Home!

I started in an earlier poet that the 12th man had to step up today and you did. Three or Four false starts? Hell , that has NEVER happened before. You each deserve a game ball!

There is no way it was 40% PIT fans. It was more like 20% tops.

My voice is gone and I have a huge headache, but I can say that we left it all in the stands today.

We got into the game and the Steelers fans were chanting in our halls.

Yeah, I hated that.

I went to the bathroom right before the half and I was the only Cards fan in there. I was not pleased, lol. Plus, the chicks were yelling and cheering. Blah.

Of course, after the game, I saw a lot of those same Steelers chicks in there. :) I couldn't help myself. I had to cheer ... and loudly. They took it pretty well.

I have no voice what so ever.

Yeah. My throat is killing me. I doubt seriously I'll be doing much talking tomorrow.

I'm so glad I'm not an out of towner anymore. :D

Roger that.

NOT IN OUR HOUSE!!! My girlfriend and I screamed from beginning to end! Awesome how loud it was in the nest! The best part was doing this:  to all the Stillers fans.

Steeler Fans

Don't have numbers, but on TV it looked like 10-15% at most. And I'm sure that CBS (AFC) would have shown more yellow and black, if they were there.

I lost my voice. Now I can't cheer the D-Backs this week. Worth it? I hope so...

Heck Yeah!!!

Steeler Fans were classy in my section but we chased them off anyways by the 4th quarter!

I have a splitting headache and my voice is almost gone - but it was worth it!

I'd say the Steeler fans were about 30% and most of them seemed pretty civil. We gave a lot of (good-natured) grief to the guy in front of us 'cuz he refused to high-five us when the Cardinals made a big play. Can you believe that? :)
