Rumors are now persisting that the Oakland Raiders might indeed make All-Pro pass rusher Khalil Mack available in a trade. A holdout since the start of training camp, things are not currently trending in the right direction between the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year and his team. Most recently, we focused on why the Raiders should in fact deal Mack. It has nothing to do with his character, previous performance or contract demands. Instead, it's all about first year head coach Jon Gruden's old-school mentality and need to form a culture that he deems necessary for success. If Oakland is serious about trading Mack, one team makes the most sense — the San Francisco 49ers. The need is obvious.
