Gabbert a goat. Can't take this seriously.
How am I getting excited?? Just stating a fact that corrected your intentionally biased distortion...
Actually he was asked by the moderator of the board to do a weekly article, so he is volunteering to do this.
He doesn't like Gabbert, and defends his stance. He even brings some stats, and examples.
There are other posters who hate certain players, and provide little, if no, reason for it.
I read people bashing Patrick Peterson on this board, and with little to no reason beyond personal speculation.
Pretty safe to say that bashing Peterson game is finding illogical babble far beyond calling out Blaine Gabbert.
Don't think Gabbert was a goat either, and if there was a reason for a goat in concerns to the passing game, it would be the receivers not named Larry Fitzgerald, or Seals-Jones
That drive started on the ARZ 49. Don't know if you really wanna get excited about that one.
Gabbert hadn't taken a snap in a live football game(by live I mean not pre-season) in nearly a year. Keeping that in mind, I thought he did well. Did I like his constant dumping? No but as I said, the guy was as rusty as an old bike chain. And, I, for the life of me cannot understand why BA refuses, REFUSES to gameplan to his strengths. Did we run any rollouts? Bootlegs? He is the most mobile QB we've had since Plummer so you gameplan for him, not try to get him to acquiesce to what he's not.
I started a thread complimenting the Eagles on their 2nd half adjustments. For example, they spend a good portion of the first half running in between the tackles and had marginal success at best. Come the 2nd half, they started running more jet sweeps and using different blocking schemes when running through the 6 hole and they started piling up the rushing yards. The game went from a 9-7 Cowboy halftime lead to an Eagles blowout.and that my friend is exactly why BA has to go... soon ....
BA is incapable of diverging from his grand master plan (dare I say 'system' ?). Said plan did have a run play that goes straight up the middle. Said run play has been used over and over with AP.
Against hot garbage defenses, our sad O-line opened holes and AP looked like a world beater.
Against any halfway decent defense, BA's single running play is (demonstrably) useless.
We already knew we had no coaching, now we know we have no game planning. Gabbert looked fine and I bet he will look even better in next weeks loss to the Jaguars (even the exalted Brady could not bail fast enough to keep this ship from sinking).
Trust me, it works both ways.My opinion
K9 is the legit hero every week, love the way he doesnt care much about other people thoughts
+1That's all fine and well... K9 is typically very quick to call out incorrect stats. So I thought it was appropriate to do so here... And yes, we know he's not a Gabbert fan, but who really is?? There may be some, but it's safe to conclude that the majority of this board does not view Gabbert as our future QB solution. At the same time, it's also appropriate to argue that Gabbert was far from being a contributing factor to the loss yesterday.
In fact, as strange as this is, the Cards are the only NFL team to start three different QB's this season. And although we now have 6 losses, none of our QB's were the cause for any of those losses... Which for me only underscores just how comprehensively messed up this team really is...
