Anybody think this is actually going to be any good? I mean the first show started out so strong and completely lost it's way.

OK, I hope this show makes it. Seeing Hiro back is kind of cool. I just hope they don't screw up this second chance at the show. The first one had such huge potential.

So, I basically quit after season 2. (Season 1 was amazing IMO.)

Do I need to catch up on the remaining seasons? I think I caught parts of S3 and totally lost interest. But this is drawing me back in.

I'm on the same boat. I stopped enjoying the show early into S3 and never finished it. With the old characters making appearances in this new one, I'm thinking that stuff will be relevant.

I'm intrigued by the new trailer, was able to spot many of the original cast, almost everyone except for Hayden Panieterre.

I'm in the majority in thinking all seasons after 1 were pretty bad, but I'm in the minority in thinking that season 1 wasn't amazing. It was good and they did a good job with the premise, but I didn't think it was brilliant television. The writers kept repeating things, especially with Silar, and they decided to continue doing the same things over and over and over in subsequent seasons.

Heroes: Reborn: Here's who's not coming back

http://www.ew.com/article/2015/06/10/heroes-reborn

Heroes: Reborn is bringing back several popular actors from the show’s original cast for this fall’s revival of the pioneering super-hero drama, with names like Greg Grunberg, Jack Coleman and—just confirmed today—Cristine Rose all in.

But there are also a few memorable performers whom EW has confirmed will not be on board.

Hayden Panettiere, Ali Larter, Adrian Pasdar, Milo Ventimiglia, and Zachary Quinto are among those who won’t be a part of the new version, which has lined up a cast of newcomers to the franchise including Zachary Levi (Chuck).

“Everybody who’s coming back has been in the press,” creator Tim Kring told EW. “We have a cadre of characters from the previous that will make appearances—some bigger than others, some just in a cameo way. It will be an interesting use of the older characters.”

I could have sworn I saw one shot of Milo Ventimiglia in the trailer--I suppose it could have been Zach Levi, but I thought that when I first saw it and he looked exactly like him.

I read somewhere that Hayden Panieterre was offended they didn't even approach here despite having a full schedule. I would have to imagine they are going to invite original cast members for cameos. It only makes sense.

I for one did think the first season was brilliant. Then the show sort of went off the rails sometime in Season 2 and went down hill from there. I am just hoping they don't screw it up again.

I am actually pretty interested in seeing Zachery Levy play a completely different type of character. Although part of me is hoping for a Chuck movie someday. :)
