Can we have some of that rain?

Friend of mine lives just north of Dallas... He sent me some pix of the lake where he keep his boat - it was stunning to see how far down the lake is! I mean, it looked like the levels were down a solid 20-30 feet! Wow!

Hope you guys get some of the wet stuff soon Duck! Here's a dance in hopes of waking up the rain gods:

It doesn't feel much like we'll have a storm today. Generally for a good monsooner here you need a hot morning to cook up a disturbance from the peaks which then rolls into town in the early to mid afternoon. Today its broken clouds and cool outside. So far its been mostly a dud of a monsoon season up here.

All the boat ramps at Lake Travis which is near my house are closed. That has never happened before. It is 30 feet below the August average.

We need a tropical storm.

We had 3 good days of rain last week up here in Temple. Now its back to triple digit heat index. I'm so glad we leave for Flag in the morning.

We drove through some of it on the way to Arlington last Friday. Couldn't see 10 feet in front of the car.

Hadn't been rained on in a month and of course it rains like crazy at the Rangers game.

:bang: :D

Made it to Grants, NM and stopped for the night. Only 250 miles to go tomorrow, so shouldn't be too bad. Looks like it rained all around Albuquerque just before we drove through. Does anyone know off hand if there is a PM practice tomorrow (Thurs.)?

Only one practice tomorrow, 3:05-5:05. BTW, it's beautiful out now. :)

Just loaded my trailer and I'm enjoying a beer. I'm heading up the hill tomorrow morning and camping near Mormon Lake. Afternoon rain showers will be a nice change from this heat in the valley.
