Sounds like he wants to win this game.

Both trades Rod Graves made were good trades this past off season. I like Vonnie Holliday, the RB spot was opened for Wells, and we also got a draft pick for Hightower. I see he averaged 2.9 again. That's what he is. He's kind of strange as a RB,the more he gets the ball, the less effective he becomes. It always seemed like when he did have a big run, it was very early in the game and then he would get about 1 to3 yards per carry after that.

I'm not sure, but I think Hightower would prefer that the Skins are victorious in the upcoming football contest. I could be wrong though.

It sounds like Tim has a little animosity toward the team that took a 5th round gamble on him and gave him the opportunity to play on the biggest stage in football. Bring it on, THT. And make sure to hold on to the ball. Something tells me our D will put extra emphasis on forcing fumbles this week.

I think Holliday has even more cause to win this game, a little smack talk is good, love it...will make sure this team is up for the game with some passion

Are you guys really going to get on THT for wanting to beat his old team? What would you rather a professional athlete say? "Oh, well, I love the Cards. Here's just to hoping we all have fun out there on Sunday and no one gets hurt." BS. That's for little league games and 70'-themed orgy parties. THT wants to give the cardinals the what-for, and any professional athlete worth his salt would feel the same way.

Who doesn't want to stick it to a team that traded them away... I know I would.

I have zero problem with it till he says "we will win" being arrogant and a little to sure of himself.

I didn't get that feeling. I think it's quite natural to want to face your former teammates and excel against them. He wouldn't be much of a competitor if he didn't approach this game in that manner. I wish him luck and hope his team comes in second place this weekend.

Just read it- “It’s going to be special. I’m going to have a hard time sleeping,” said Hightower, who on Sunday rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. “I’m going to want to live here and be prepared as much as I can. You’ll see me getting my teammates a little extra motivated this week, make sure the coaches on defense have some tricks up their sleeves, and that they’re scheming right. I want to win this game, and we’re going to win this game, but I want to win this game. This one means a lot to me.”...sounds more like the guy writing the article putting more into it than what Hightower meant...whatever Mike Jones

didn't come across as "I want to stick it to em" smack, more like I want to beat the guys that know me well, just like one wants to beat their friend in a competition more than I hate those guys, really

maybe Vonnie Holliday has the game circled and wants to win too.

Good point. Where's his article? Oh that's right, he's a Cardinal now so the media is required to ignore him except during really slow news cycles.

Hell they probably will...haven't we lost like 80 of the last 81 in Washington? :D

A reference of decade-themed orgies:
50's- everyone wears a tie and accuses their partners of being communist.
60's- ... it's the 60s, so no theme is needed. But some jerk will wear a vest.
70's- according to Pariah this is the "soft" decade with everyone wrapped in velvety velour and just hoping no one gets hurt.
80's- coinciding with the popularization of gansta rap this is when orgies get violent, providing a nice parallel to the softer 70s.
90's- every party has a Spice Girls theme... it's kinda nice.
00's- the invention of the two-person orgy finally allows the very ugly to get involved.

Oh, and Timmy wouldn't have made it to the pro level if he didn't use every tiny slight to help motivate him to run into other people as fast and as hard as possible.
Everyone does it.

Timmy can kill it every day of the NFL season except when he's facing the Cards. Same as every other.

If we held off DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, things aren't looking all that well for him running the ball. What he said is understandable and not much of a bold statement since everyone wants to win, especially against former teams.
