This sucks. Koyie Hill fractured his ankle in a collision at home with Ty Wiggnton. Hill has been showing a lot of promise over the last week and was looking forward to seeing how he would perform the last 6 weeks. Hopefully he has a 100% recovery and will be ready for spring training.

That collision was like a freight train hitting a semi! I've never seen a catcher get so creamed, or gear fly 20 feet in all directions. What a shame for Koyie - he was starting to get it together defensively and offensively. I guess this proves he was meant to be a Diamondback - 2 weeks with the team and he's on the 60-day DL!

Be curious to see who gets the call-up - I would think Ansman, maybe. They said Robby is still not good enough on the knee - which is in itself an ominous sign.

This is sad, but hopefully he recovers well. Good news is if Ansman gets the call and produces, we'll go into next year with two good catching prospects.

Hill actually finished out the inning too after the hit! I hope he makes a speedy recovery.
