I had an Army colleague who played HS ball with Ward. Said he was a phenomenal athlete and leader, who was ridiculously tough.

He's a guy that I always disliked, who I would have loved for the Cardinals to have. Kind of like Darnell Dockett, who is a guy who I would have hated if he played for the Seahawks.

Can he recruit because that is really what was lost with Samples departure? I’m sure Hines is a decent too very good coach

Potentially, but I guess we'll find out. Definitely lacks the recruiting track record of Samples, but is charismatic with good name recognition which should help.
