He left because he was afraid of the bounty the Ravens players had on him. I want to see those medical reports. Now let's wipe that smirk off his face.

I hope you're kidding? Have you watched any Steelers/Ravens games? LOL. The Ravens have been hating on Hines for years. Bart Scott is one in particular. He threatened to kill him after Hines destroyed (embarassed) him on the field.

This year, with the bounty, the Ravens said "they've been trying to get to 86 for years, and just can't get him between the whistles". They hit hard, but Hines hits harder, and he'll get right back up and keep smiling. It gets in their head; they all wanna "wipe that smirk off his face" LOL. The Ravens can't do it without doing it dirty though.

Look where that got the Ravens! Watching XLIII from their couches!!

Make no mistake, Hines will play in the game. Hines at 75% even, is a beast! Just ask your coach :)

Aside from all that, I just wanted to join in, in these weeks leading up to the big game!

Congratulations, Cards fans on your season, and here's to a hard fought and injury free game!!

Good post. I agree Hines is a tough SOB, but I think it's more than fair to say you guys and the Ravens both dish it out equally. I live just south of Baltimore and have been to every Raven/Steeler game in Md since they moved here. It is definitely my favorite rivalry.

Anywho, classy post and I look forward to some good banter over the next two weeks.

Ward may be tough, but he is easily one of the most over-rated football players in a long time.

He's a very good WR. he's also someone you don't like unless he is on your team. I respect him for his blocking ability (albeit his specialty is the blindside block). He is completely unlikeable in my opinion. But he isn't paid to be popular, he's paid to play football, and he does that.

He's the Raja Bell of the NFL in my opinion. Hard as nails, and a bastard to line up across from. He doesn't have the speed to blow by Hood and Rod should have some experience against him also so that might help us.

In short.... Hines is a stud. But at 75% might be enough that Hood can keep up.

Our CB's line up somewhat well with them. Holmes and DRC with Hood and Hines. It's Heath Miller t6hat is going to bitch slap us to eternity.

And Washington. He has come along very nicely, has amazing speed, and has the knack of getting open.

For RB's, MeMo should be a worry for you too (Mewelde Moore), but Willie Parker, well, be afraid of his speed. . . but you all saw his ability to catch! :mulli:

:bang: :D
