Ladies and Gents,

I have put together some historical Cardinals radio calls for download. There are just a handful of them right now, but we will be posting more in the coming days.

I know that many people have been following this team for a while and I am sure that you will enjoy these highlights.

I appreciate your patience as we expand our multimedia capabilities little by little.

Here's a call...

Here's a call that wouldn't be considered "historic" but it was bizarre enough to be worthy of consideration -

It took place in the late 1940's/early 1950'.

The way I remember it was:

The Cards were playing the Bears. The Cards had scored late in the 4Q to take a one point lead. With time beginning to run out, they were able to force the Bears to punt.

Cardinal kick returner Jim Cross fielded the ball on his own goal line and tripped, falling back into the end zone for a safety which caused the Cards to lose the game by a point.

Not a particularly fond memory, but appropriate given the circumstances facing the Cardinals this week.

I like the music in the background. That Larry Wilson highlight is awesome!
