If the M&M called and offers us the #40 and #72 and swap the 1st round picks I'll jump on it.

Why would it? Six months from now is August. Last I checked the NFL didn't start counting games until September, so Holcomb will be back and they still want a "franchise" QB, right?

What if the shoulder doesn't heal in 6 months?

I would be surprised if they traded Couch on the hope that Holcomb is going to be healthy.

The Browns are hoping he will be ready for training camp in July, but Holcomb's uncertain future has complicated the Browns' biggest offseason issue: restructuring Couch's contract.

Policy said he met with Couch last weekend in Florida and had "candid but not confrontational" discussions about reworking the former No. 1 draft pick's contract.

Couch is scheduled to make $7.6 million this season, and the Browns have said they will only have him back if he's willing to restructure his deal.

This surgery is on his throwing arm/shoulder and is the same injury that ended Boselli's career.

I wouldn't be counting on Holcomb for much other than back-up duty.
